Botched my chances for the cut in the 2nd round with a -8. -20 won't be enough i suppose. You might be alright. Cut lines past -20 are incredibly rare, even when it's this easy.
I am on -21 and think I will just sneak in.
(I will probably regret saying that )

Slowly getting better with this mouse. Swing occasionally gets really wonky outside the blue but I'm getting better with it. Putting was an issue first nine where I had 3 birdies and a bogey, but felt it come together on the back nine with 6 straight birdies to finish off. -8 for round one... Normally I'd be happy but that leaves me in 75th position!! Feel like I'm going to have to shoot -20 minimum to have a shot at the cut and even then it probably will be a nail biter.

Just to make it official - sorry about that pin in the 4th round. Sometimes these things slip through - hopefully it doesn't affect your enjoyment of the event too much. For those of you that birdied it, please don't rub it in! haha

This damn game is so annoying. Go into the driving range before starting the event, which has a great mound infront of the tee box, but oh well and hit it fairly straight. Load up R1 and for the front 9 get almost a 30 degree angle from the middle to the top and only manage 1 birdie. Missed a couple of 10 footers on the back 9, but got it to -6. Start off R2 with a bogey, but then play a bit better before another bogey and -7 for the round. At least I dont have to worry about the 6th in R4. Maybe you should have loaded up the putting green like I did after seeing how the driving range was screwed up to see what was in store, I demand an apology HB

I hope you putted that.

-25 at the cut. Not bad for never playing any more and the course being fairly simple. 😏😏

Apparently there's been some drama with this week's setup. I just finished my rounds and that hole was the only blemish all week.
I can appreciate that it's impossible to test every scenario, but I do think a few simple principles could be followed.
1. TGCTours already has a list of trusted designers. I have to believe these designers are giving reasonable effort to make fair pins and appropriate green speeds to their contouring. 2. Given each course comes with a default green speed, one would assume that the course will play fair at that speed - or slower. 3. If the setup folks are going to increase green speed, then perhaps they need to specifically test for that exact pin set on that exact green.
Leaving green speeds as is or simply slowing them from default would probably avoid most of these mishaps.

You could learn a lot from Twitter Mitch 😂

I hope you putted that. I didn't even attempt it. Figured I'd try this morning but got nowhere close from 57 feet. Almost holed a flop, nice that my swing is straight in the practice area " src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/superangry.png">

Second round was 90-95% good tempo, good shots and no bogeys. I couldn't putt for shite but you can't have everything. It is the little victories as this is the first tourney round with the new mouse that was without a bogey. Getting closer to that cut line but I'll fall 5 or so shots shy. On to next week!

Bang on medium player point for me this week with an opening -9 & -11.... reckon that juuuuuuuuust about squeezes in.
Totally PGA bland-o-thon course. Almost looking forward to R4 H6 to add some much needed spice... at current rate I'll be hitting that at about beer 6 or 7 on Friday night... could be fun!

I was -3 through two in R1 and thought THIS IS THE WEEK!!! Then I remembered my shots actually have accuracy deviation and slowly came back to earth. -20 through 2 as well, hoping to hang on. Curious course choice (and some alliteration for those keeping score at home). Surely many of this community’s designers would’ve accepted the challenge of hosting this event.

I don’t want to talk about it!!!!
Oh yeah I guess that’s why I’m here? Or was I coming to complain about flicks, tempo, who got APId...
Started off nervous and tight and on an easy course that’s not good. But still managed -14. Second round I just could get as many putts to fall. So -25 at the cut. Mission accomplished there.
So I trudged on all in one setting. Saying to myself if things start to go sideways I’m stopping and will finish up Friday. Since I figured I was clear for the cut I guess I relaxed and shot -16.
Sitting -41 after 3 I think I was 12th on the PS4 leaderboard at the time. With the leader being -50 or something. But I was excited that I might actually finish in the top 20 for a change.
You know what happens when you start thinking like that. I had like 4 or 5 bogies in the 4th round and a double on 6. I just could not get any handle on the VF, F,F greens. Shot a -2 for the round to ensure my plummet down the leaderboard to nowhere land. I really wish I would not play all 4 rounds in one sitting. Concentration wanes and almost ensures a late collapse for me. I swear to God sometimes I wonder why I even play this game. I should stick to single player games where I can’t choke...again and again and again.
Ignore me, as I continue to be irrelevant.
