The Uber Tournament @ Le Petit Diable, Round 3.
Taking a 5 shot lead into the 3rd round, Mike would start off fast tearing the front 9 to shreds birdieing every hole, Le Petit Diable would bite back on the back 9 only allowing 3 more birdies on 11, 13 & 18, and it wasn’t for the lack of trying, but putts just weren’t dropping, nonetheless a round of 59 (-12) would take him to -41 for the tournament so far and with Shaun Trayys just 4 back and Preston Winthorpe III yet to play his final 2 rounds Mike had still better keep his foot on the gas for his final round if he want’s to claim his maiden BCT victory.

Darryl had a fun week playing with Victor again. Unfortunately for them and the rest of the field, Mike Georgiades had a week to remember. Even with beginner clubs, courses sometimes fit the eye, and sometimes they don't. This course was no different. One thing is for sure, we shall be toasting to Mike today in the RV all day. Congrats!! Great scoring Mike!!

Couldn't get it done in round 4 this week, complete choke job from Shaun! A disappointed Ernie pictured above holding Trayys putter while Shaun shakes the hand of Mike G, winner of the Uber Tournament. Huge congrats on your 1st win!!!!

What an awesome little tour we have. Terrific to see people encouraging others and different winners each week. I played my second profile for fun and ended up mid 30’s under, which would have been about right for me it seems. Don’t even mind if I never get a win here so long as I’m around the top 5-10 each week and top 25 even if I play smashed...
Huzzah hickory shafted brethren 🤟🏼

The Uber Tournament @ Le Petit Diable, Round 4. Mike would head into the final round with a 4-shot lead over Shaun Trayys, only a complete melt down could stop Mike from taking his maiden BCT win. Stepping onto the 1st tee you could see that he was nervous, but 2 birdies on the opening 2 holes would see him relax just a little, 4 more on 4, 5, 6 & 8 would see him now in a commanding position, then a bogie on 9 would see Mike -5 at the turn. Would this be where he falters? With the support of fellow tour comrades Victor Lane, Darryl A. Montgomery & Kevin Malone who were walking the course and rooting, ahh well cheering him on all the way, Mike would manage to get back into his groove and birdie 4 straight on 11 through 14. Club house leader Eric Estrada could only watch on while eating an extra-large plate of CHiPs. Mike would go onto birdie 16 & 18 for a final round score of 60 (-11) and -52 for the tournament. Walking off the 18th with Lane, Montgomery, Malone, Trayys & Hudson, even Preston Winthorpe III managed to tear himself away from his practice to be there to greet him, but before they had a chance, a figure rushed out of the crowed dodging security like a streaker at the MCG on boxing day, it would be none other than compatriot Warwick Todd yelling out at the top of his voice “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi” with an Aussie flag to drape around Mike. One thing’s for sure there’s gonna be a party tonight at the RV. Thanks for all the support guys it means a lot.

Huge congratulations to my good friend Mike on his runaway win! You beat my 7 shot victory over Darryl damn it. Only joking of course and i really don't care about that part. You deserve every bit of praise because i know you have worked very hard on your game and have come very close before. I am extremely happy for you Mike and wish you well in future tournaments!

Heading into this week Victor Lane was not feeling very good about his game, which led to some very rare practice rounds before the event (usually he’s joy riding in the RV somewhere around town looking for a party spot). Unfortunately, the practice rounds didn’t go well, and he had a bad feeling about this week too, even though he really enjoyed playing Le Petite Diable. To make matters worse, Victor knew that Mike Georgiades had shot a ridiculous first round score, so he already felt a bit defeated heading to the first tee. Round one ended up being a decent performance without a bogey on the card, but the putts wouldn’t drop all day, so Lane carded a -9 and was immediately seven shots behind. It’s not like Victor to mail it in, especially with how well he can trash talk and run his mouth, but after a bogey on the fifth hole of round two, and a couple more on the back, his give a DAM was officially gone. To rub margarita salt in the wound, Victor found out that Mike had made another ace for the tournament in round two. The final two rounds were just Victor going through the motions, leading to a handful of bogeys, bringing his total to eight for the event. Lane prides himself on hitting fairways & greens and staying bogey free, so it was quite obvious that he was mentally checked out. He was more interested in seeing if his buddy could hold on for the win. As with a lot of the new blood here on the BCT, Victor and Mike are tour rivals, but after tying for first in Greece and winning on a countback, Victor was cheering for Mike to win this trophy for the RV’s wall of champions. All throughout the final two rounds, Victor Lane and Mike’s beautiful wife Jenny, could be seen rooting in the crowd. 😉
