Quit after 20 lip outs in the middle of round 3 at E for the tourney. This! Definitely shows why the guys on top are so good. I'm at E after 2 rounds and if things don't improve I'm gone lol! I was at +3 through 8 holes and barely limped myself into a -1. Then things got hairy in the second round. Such a roller coaster out there...
Good luck everyone.

I'm -13 after 2 rounds and currently sitting in 127th place.
The strange thing is my FIR's on my 1st round was 57.1% and GIR's 61.1% and I shot -8. But on my 2nd round my FIR's were 78.6% and GIR's were 77.8% but hit -5, although I took 20 putts in round 1 against 26 in round 2. I don't think I cope well with the very fast greens, but hopefully I can do enough to get me up to CC-A.

I think you copied me lol.
I'm aiming for web.com, need two very good last rounds.

Current cut lines as at Wednesday 11:30am BST:
PGA -22 Euro -17 Web -13
Still about 2 or 300 players to play yet, based on previous promo events.
I've just finished the first two rounds. I had -8's in my head as a target based on the scoring I've seen so far. Played pretty well to score 63 and 64 for -17 at half way, on track! In both rounds had a sticky start but holed out for eagle 2's to get me going. I usually bemoan my lack of luck in these events, maybe the worm has turned? Parred 3 of the par 5's in round 2 or it could have been even better, but to be fair I don't want to make Euro so quite happy. So far...
Beautifully designed course but some of the fairway slopes can turn what you thought was a good shot into a bad one. I hit 42% FIR in round 1 and hardly hit a bad swing!

Like I mentioned, need two big last rounds to give me a chance. Still think looking at -28ish for a chance...

I've taken the liberty of working out where the cut lines are for all the levels down to CC-D. Obviously doesn't mean much at this stage with quite a few still to play and only 2 rounds done, but I thought it was interesting:
(Please note, this has been worked out manually and is in no way official)
Cut lines as at Wednesday 19:30 BST:
PGA -22 Euro -17 Web -13 CCA -11 CCB -9 CCC -7 CCD -3
So if I'm right and you're in the Challenge Circuit looking to move up a few levels, get yourself under par and you are in contention! I'll try and provide a few more updates as the week goes on if I get the time (and if no one tells me to shut up!).

Giraffe, are you saying after 2 rounds I would need to be @ -11 to be on target for CC-A if I finish around -22? Or -11 total for 4 rounds? Either way, that number seems too low to me. Please explain how you came to these #'s.
Thanks

Please explain how you came to these #'s. Thanks These are the cut lines as they stand after 2 rounds. There is a part explanation on page 30 of the tournament info thread. For CCA you take the allocated slots, add all the Masters players from CCA who are above the Web line (and so will create another space by moving up), take off all the Pro club players above the Web line who will fall in to CCA, and then work down. Obviously anyone who is already CCA or above don't count because they will just stay where they are. Same for CCB, add all the CCB players above the CCA line to the allocated slots, and work down from it discounting anyone already at or above that level. Etc. Trust me! I have no idea what the final scores will be, there's a lot of players to come and having not played them myself yet, I don't know how difficult those rounds are. But ballpark, -22 won't be far away.

I enjoyed just being part of the US Open so I played this as a second qualifier to the Open. Prometheus Cove is no gimmy. Played it steady with no pressure & got the ball to where it needed to be. Chipped away at the score It's a great course & enjoyed it, which helps. I think there's -50+ out there so see if my score holds the top 10 till Sunday. -11 -13 -10 -11
-45

Round 3 done. Had to really scrap my way round the first 11 holes, hit a few good ones but couldn't quite find that consistent tempo and had to scramble a load. Two poor bunker shots cost me bogeys on 4 and 10, after a par at the par 5 11th I'm standing on the 12th tee at -3 and seeing it all slipping away. And then it clicked again 6 birdies in the last 7 and a nice par save from the garden over the back wall at 16, in with a 63 to sit -26 thru 3. Still a bit of work to do in round 4 but in my head -30 is safe for Web. Obviously the deeper in to the 30's I can go the better. Still a lot can go wrong, game head will be well and truly on! I really love the course but the fairway on 18 can kiss my hairy ass! lastchancehombre 😘

If it'll help any, try to play the tee shot over the 2 pot bunkers on the left as long as the wind's neutral or with ya. I'm sure you noticed that tho'! Good luck on round 4!

Well, after back to back wins on the Web to get promoted to the Euro... looks like I'll only be there for this week.
R1: -12 R2: -9 R3: -15 R4: -15 Total: -51
Streamed both the 3rd and 4th rounds and it was by far my best showing ever. Appreciate anyone who stopped by as always.
I absolutely love the course, if that wasn't already a given. Been working very hard to make it to the PGA and I'm super pumped to see it pay off. Hoping the -51 can hang on for 1st, but maybe someone else had some even better rounds to finish.
Good luck to everyone else in their promos!

I played two good rounds yesterday. -23 put me on 2nd place of the PC leaderboard. But that normally doesn't mean that much because PS4-scoring normally is way better. I played without pressure - just enjoying myself and the game. After two rounds though i was a little tired and i stopped playing. Shouldn't have done that ...... Today i looked at the leaderboard and realized that i am in the Top 10. You can bet that i will choke it away in round 3 and 4.

Finished -25 overall, disappointed in myself as left about 4 or 4 shots out their on R3 and R4.
My driving is what surprisingly cost me, scrabbling too much from the rough.
Though currently 20th on Xbox leader board, don't think that will be enough.
I know I can make it on the web.com tour, so this is a real kicker.

You never know though, my guess is the line will be around -28 but it's not impossible that it could be lower. A lot of emotional investment goes in to this stupid game!
