Had enough of trying now. First drive was a fast downswing, 2nd drive (on the par 5) was very slow as well as the third shot. This is all down to my hand being shaky and twitchy and it is taking the piss now. I was not this way before i got to the first tee.
Yes i was really nervous and thinking about the tournament religiously beforehand but it shouldn't cause me to shake uncontrollably and struggle to swing the joystick properly and with beginner clubs at that!
I maxed the 2nd hole so i wouldn't come back. I can not come back when i shake uncontrollably like this, it just ruins the fun. I am fine with being nervous but when it makes me like this i cannot continue and for someone who is seriously competitive that is a pain. There used to be a time when i would be fine being nervous but now as soon as i get on the course i just completely go south despite trying to think positively.
Sorry for all the negativity. That is all that seems to come from me these days. I am trying really hard to not get so bad but it is severely affecting my swing now and it just seems pointless continuing. Also wasted my time playing each pin set to prepare.
Getting pretty upset over this too because i am letting my friends down by not competing in these events. I just can't help the way i am. You have all helped me and not put me down for who i am and you know i am very much appreciative of that. TGC Tours means the world to me and after 5 years i can not let it go.
I wish everyone good luck in this event!

Nice easy first two rounds. Not a lot of wind, and fairly flat greens. Missed a few I should have made from medium range, couldn’t keep up with Yaters in the first round but matched him in the second to be 2 back in second on XBox thru 2.
-12, -13 for -25 after 36. Just the one eagle so far, a nice chip in on 18 that was lucky it hit the flag or I’d have had a decent putt for the bird.
Good luck those yet to hit off, be nice to hear from a few more about how their rounds went 🙏🏼
Edit - Finished up my rounds, it’s just so much fun playing with the beginner clubs it’s like TGC1 all over again. Couldn’t match Yaters this week, I dropped one on him rounds 3 and 4 to finish 4 back, -47. Had 3 bogeys over the last 2 rounds playing super aggressive trying to make up shots, but should be another top 10 I hope.

BREAKING NEWS ON THE BCT: Here's the scoop!
Mongtomery’s RV vandalized following BCT win Animal rights group claims responsibility
By Chris P. Bacon TGCTours Correspondent
HARRISBURG, Pa (TGC) -- What’s in a headline? Plenty, and that spelled trouble for the most recent winner on TGCTours.com’s Beginner Club Tour.
Darryl A. Montgomery awoke Monday morning to find the recreational vehicle he drives to events had its tires slashed and its facade graffitied in the wake of his eight-shot victory in the Summer Showdown at Dauphin Highlands.
Later Monday, animal rights group People Egregiously-Trolling Animal Haters (PE-TAH) claimed responsibility for the act in a series of tweets after apparently misreading a headline about the event and believing that Montgomery was responsible for abusing dolphins.
The mix-up surrounded the story titled, “Montgomery clubs Dauphin 63 times in BCT win.”
Tweeted PE-TAH executive Amanda Huggabare: “Shame on @damontgomery for his treatment of those poor dolphins. These innocent creatures never stood a chance with a golfer of his skill level coming down to the Beginners Tour and bludgeoning them to death. #JusticeForFlipper”
In addition to having three tires slashed, Montgomery’s RV had eight dolphins spray painted on it.
Montgomery, incredulous after what he called “an unprovoked attack,” said he did not deserve to be treated in such a manner.
“All I do is win, win, win, no matter what,” he said when approached by a TGC reporter Monday morning.
A TGC Tours official condemned the act.
“To pick on a successful player because of a misspelled headline is shameful,” BCT junior vice president of marketing, promotion and animal control Neal Rictov said in a statement. “PE-TAH should own up to its actions, publish a correctly spelled apology with the tag ‘tour’ at the end of it.”
Rictov said no dolphins were intentionally harmed during the event.
"If (a) Snowflake had its feelings hurt, it wasn't on porpoise," he said.
While PE-TAH has claimed responsibly for the vandalism, the actual perpetrator or perpetrators remain at large. Local police are offering a $325 reward -- equal to Montgomery's first-place prize winnings at the event -- for information leading to the arrest of those responsible. Persons with information should call the anonymous tip line: 1-800-BRD-EMJI.
Asked if the incident would keep Montgomery from this week’s tour stop, the Pokemon Go Long! Championship at Xuxa CC, Montgomery said he would try to get the RV repaired with his winnings, otherwise he would arrange a chartered flight through a close friend.
Montgomery’s play has taken the BCT by storm since dropping down in late April following an unsuccessful stint on the European Tour. He has won four of his eight starts, placed in the top five six times and in the top 10 seven times. His latest win vaulted him to 28th on the money list despite playing in less than 28 percent of this year’s tour events.
As notorious as Montgomery’s play on the course has been his penchant for partying off the course. Parties in his recently vandalized RV have been the talk of the tour with several other regulars showing up the night before events to hangout with the rockstar-like figure.
Two weeks ago, the BCT had to issue a memo to its players about appropriate attire on the course after several players showed up to the first tee of the Copa de Zika disheveled and apparently hung over following a night of drinking in what one anonymous tour official referred to as “that DAM RV.”
Montgomery said damage to the RV will not stop the extra-curricular activities this week.
“We’ve had issues with our rubber before,” Montgomery said, “But that won’t stop us from partying as long and as hard as ever. And then, I’m going to step on to that first tee and put a DAM whippin’ on the competition again.”

Late Monday evening with a cup of coffee, Mike would start reading his afternoon paper from back to front (the correct way to read your paper) only to spit it everywhere. Darryl’s RV vandalized WTF, where the hell are we going to party now 1st thought that ran through his mind, he quickly rang his good friend Darryl to see if everything was OK and after a brief chat Mongtomery assured Mike that nothing would stop the BCT party from continuing on this week, and furthermore that he was intent clubbing the opposition once again at Xuxa, let’s all hope there aren’t any tiny squirrels called Xuxa, as Amanda and PE-TAH would become unbearable.
Mike would start off his 1st round with a quartet of leaders, Jo Jo McDaniels, John Yates, Leo Nidas and PWIII all at -14 and with Darryl A. Montgomery now on the warpath, Mike knew he’d need his A-game and it looked like he had brought it birdieing the 1st 3 holes, but 3 straight pars after that brought Mike back down to earth, birdie’s on 7 & 9 would see him make turn at -5 and having a lot of work to do just to keep in touch with the leaders, after 13 he would only be -7 and would need something special over the final 5 holes and he got just that making birdie on holes 14, 15, 16 & 18 for a 1st round score of 61 (-11) 3 shots off the lead.

Darryl spent most of Monday at Grayson's Roadkill Cafe and Repair shop waiting for the RV to be fixed. Others, however were already teeing off and showing solid rounds in this weeks event. Although this was upsetting to him, he was confident they would have the repairs finished in time to allow Darryl to make the journey to Xuxa CC. BCT officials have been very gracious and they are working with him to push his tee time to back in light of these events. On the bright side, Darryl has added a few upgrades. Chrome spray painted hubcaps being one of them. The rest of the story is yet to be told this week. Darryl has a lot of work to do off the course, let alone keep up with the scores on the course. Stay tuned...

June has been quite a month for Victor! It included a collapse for a runner-up finish, a temporary estrangement from best friend Darryl, a trip home to see his parents, a disguise to compete on tour without all the attention, a trip to Greece, a surprise win by countback, and a 22-shot loss last week. Since he planned to travel to Xuxu with Darryl in the RV this week, he’s also slightly delayed to the first tee, so he took some of the recent tournament winnings and spent a little time in the Under Armour store at the Hershey Outlets to get outfitted once again in his trademark pink, white, and grey threads. There’s no need for disguises or pouting anymore, he’s a winner DAM it!

With Darryl's RV in the repair shop, Hector decided to give a call to his shady transportation sponsor from Ecuador to get him to Xuxa CC. Hector has been traveling light. The only belongings with him are his golf bag, a plastic flamingo with tequila still in it and the clothes on his back. He does have a few backup pairs of underwear for special occasions that he keeps in a pouch in his golf bag. When he gets the chance he washes them in ball washers on the course.
Hector showed up to Xuxa just before his tee time and with no warm up swings or practice he teed off. First hole... Birdie! Second hole... Birdie! A nice hot start to the week. As Hector got to the 3rd hole par 3 he spotted a ball washer near the tee box. He unzipped his golf bag and pulled out a dirty pair of undies. No one was watching him anyways so he proceeded to clean them in the ball washer. As he was ringing out the undies he heard a distant call "FORRRREEEE!!!!" Before Hector could react *SMACK* the ball hit him right in the throat. Rolling around on the tee box holding his neck and gasping for air all Hector could do was wait til he was able to catch his breath again. While unable to speak he tried to gesture to one of the marshals that he needed some ice and medical assistance but the marshal just laughed at Hector thinking it was supposed to be comedic. Once Hector caught his breath he felt how swollen his neck was from the impact. No one even came to claim the ball. Whoever hit it must have figured it was lost.
Hector continued on with his round with lots of discomfort. He would only go on to make 2 more birdies along with a pair of bogeys to start the week with a miserable score of -2. Following the round Hector finally got some medical attention after a little boy noticed the swelling and asked his mom... "Mommy, why did that man swallow a baseball?". Hector is going to rest and regroup before playing round 2. He is hoping for some better luck!

"What is wrong with Shaun Trayys?" It was the buzz around tour, "this guy showed up with his new caddie last week, putted for 6 hours and just left after looking at the scores being put up, he's softer than my fuzzy dice hangin on my rear view mirror" said Darryl 'bubb-A-gump' McGumpery of Shaun Trayys. "Who? Didn't you see my win in Greece? I wouldn't have played either if I wasn't me, or I was him, idk whatever man" Victor Lane yelled at the camera for no apparent reason. ***Over walked Leo and Hector Vazquez from the range*** "I like flamingos" mumbled Hector. "Is he a spartan? No? Well there's your answer" Nidas added. A seemingly always steady thumbed player seemed to have lost his confidence... nervous to even tee it up after his last round on tour he shot a 70. Now his competitors have lost fear in him? All he had was a luscious blue mullet left and his caddie Ernie on his side who was forcing Shaun to play this week against his will. Maybe it was Ernie, maybe it was the flamingos, the week off of partying before, during, and after the rounds at Darryls RV... whatever the hell it was got Shaun feeling better than ever, firing a -15 round 1 and following up with a decent 2nd round, finds himself tied for 1st place after 36 holes at -27.

Furious, he set out to find the tournament official. He was directed to lodge his complaint with SmilingGoats so Leo did just that! Leo received a formal response shortly thereafter stating “You’re and idiot, you played in the wrong tournament, this is the Gainesville Open and your not even on this Tour”.......... In fairness, I would never call anyone an idiot...no matter how much I was thinking it!!!

After T-diddy woke up it took some time to catch his bearings. The few pieces of the plane that remained clued him into the fact that something had gone awry on the flight to his event. Then, out of nowhere, a wild pikachu appeared!
"What is this $#!T", he thought. But then, a glimmer of familiarity. Wherever this is, at least they still play golf. He made his way past the lone spectator to the first tee. This should be interesting.

Darryl finally arrived after a long night of driving. The RV had indeed been repaired and was tip top shape after some jerkbags sabotaged it. Darryl is still working with local authorities in Harrisburg. Sargent Terry Grayass was running down leads and requesting any and all security camera footage. We may never know who did it, but then again, you never know. Now for the golf...Darryl, still pissed off about having to spend hard earned winnings on fixing the RV was ready to kick some a$$ and take some names. He has plenty of names, and did a lot of a$$ kicking on the course. He was mostly seen looking straight ahead and all business on the course determined to show all that this little set back won't stand in his way of snatching his 5 aluminum BCT trophy from all the other hopefuls. He felt great about how he played this week overall. Of course, there are always a few that he wants back, but he feels he'll be in the mix on Sunday although he can't remember his final score. If you need him, he'll be at the RV drinking whatever he can find and getting to know his new guard dog "Snots".

Mike would start his 2nd round trying to chase down a group of leaders sitting at -27 and this would be tough ask and decided to play attacking golf and let the chips fall where they may, with only 2 birdies on the 1st 4 holes Mike knew he’d something special from here on in just to keep them within reach, 4 straight birdies and a par on 9 would see him at -6 at the end of the front 9, pars on 10, 11 & 13 would put an end to any comeback, birdies on 12, 14, 16 & 18 would give him a round of 62 (-10) and -21 for the tournament, on the bright side he had played 2 bogie free rounds of golf.
