Mike stepped up to the tee for his 2nd round and knew he'd need something special, but it wasn't to be, bogie on the 2nd hole and +1 after 4. Birdies on 5 through 8 would help, -3 for the front 9. 4 more birdies on 10 through 13 would see him move to -8 but another bogie 15 would see him drop back to -7 where he would stay for the 2nd round. Mike would only have pride left to play for now.

-34 thru 3. 6 behind Yaters, who is my current Xbox rival whether he knows it or not. I got him last week, he got me the week before. Those mini rivalries do it for me, not winning 👍🇦🇺👍 I think the platform rivalries are great as well. I think it helps drive your play (or puts the pressure on) when you see those lives scores.
Currently I look at KatanaMike22 and Spartan4Knight as my in game rivals but there are so many more good XB players who I am not familiar with. I will definitely expand my rivalry list to posters here once I know your GT.
My GT is HeMan1202 (I did change my forum and Tour name once I started on BCT)

Those mini rivalries do it for me... This is what we celebrate on BCT! There are so many fun rivalries developing here that make each week a tournament within a tournament, so that's a great way to look at it.

Main rivals on Xbox, it started out with Jeff McCord (xKRANKBAITx) but has now expanded to Jo Jo McDaniels (HeMan1202), Dom E. Nader (TheDominator273), Leo Nidas (Spartan4Knight), Shaun Trayys (JChantres) and now a pesky Australian stealing my limelight as the No1 Aussie on the BCT tour, Warwick Todd (FoundedImpala65).
They are fun and part of why BCT is the best tour.

My GT is HeMan1202 (I did change my forum and Tour name once I started on BCT) HA! I will pay attention more now. I just picked this game up again after many months away. Not a fan of this tempo swing and got super frustrated trying to play on Masters clubs. I think I might have been top 30 or 40 in WGR at one point, but just playing for fun now. HeMan I remember well. Lots of other old Xboxers I lost track of. But I'll be your huckleberry Warwick Todd!

I’m probably going to play it again for fun with my original TGC profile (bigmtiger73). I also got to about 40 WGR, had a win last year on PGA and was runner up in the fed ex and player of the year. Different profile now, different attitude and approach. I’ve always played by feel, so some weeks I’ll be top 5, other weeks I won’t. Saul Goodman...
I think a big issue in this tour is what you pack in the bag. I went 2w this week to account for that long pat 3, but it was never really the right club. If I had my time again (which I do, it just doesn’t count for anything except fun) I’ll play the 3w.
Will update my score here just for interests sake, and see if I can get a better idea on the greens. No practice is bad practice👌🏻
Hope you’re inspired to stick around Dan. Even Garcia doesn’t win every week, winning twice already is a handy start to dominating the season. Think longer term mate - don’t win the battle, win the war 👌🏻
Edit - 2 back on myself thru 36 lol. Lots of experimenting happening, not sure if I’m learning though???
2nd edit. Finished the last 36 holes, made up 1 on my official effort to finish 1 back of myself at -44. Really enjoyed the course 👌🏻

Hector went out on the course this week ready to play and fired off an effortless first round score of 58 (-14). Unfortunately that momentum would stop as he teed it up for round 2. A demoralizing start of par-bogey made him think he would begin to fall away from the pack. He then decided to get more aggressive on approach shots but the stronger winds had something to say about that. Often being left with mid-range slippery downhill putts he began to struggle to make birdies. The same thing happened to him in round 3 as he felt defeated missing lots of birdie opportunities and ultimately ending up making 11 pars in that round which will not cut it on this tour. In the final round Hector began to find a little bit of a groove again but continued to play overly aggressive as he had nothing to lose at that point. A final round 63 left him at -36 after the tournament.
Hector is hoping his scores will be good enough to keep him in the top 25 for the week so he can earn some of the money back that he spent on Hersheys chocolate. Hector tipped his cap to the clubhouse as he walked off the 18th green and headed towards Darryl's RV. As he approached the RV he spotted the BCT gang all having a good time. Leo Nidas was "spartan kicking" Mike Georgiades off the top of the RV down onto a pile of old severely stained mattresses that they had pulled out of Darryl's private quarters. Victor Lane was drinking a massive Captain Morgan and Cherry Coke cocktail out of the trophy he won last week surrounded by a few groupies. Hector then noticed a mob of groupies around a picnic table that Darryl was at. There were so many of them you could not see what Darryl was even doing on that picnic table but Hector didn't really want to know... especially because Darryl's underwear was spotted on the ground.
Out of the mob of groupies a familiar face came out of the crowd and walked towards Hector. It was the girl he had spotted staring at him a few weeks ago out of the roof of the RV. She had in her hand a sticker of the Ecuador flag. This must have been who put the Ecuador Flag sticker on Shaun Trayy's bumper! (He is still trying to get it off). She slapped the Ecuador flag sticker on Hector's forehead and handed him a can of beer. She then pulled out a switchblade which made Hector take a few steps back. She laughed and said "Relax man". She walked up to Hector and stabbed a hole in the can and cracked the top open. Hector lifted the beer and chugged. The girl smiled and began to walk away as she said "Keep having fun Hector, you play better when you're having a good time out there." She went back to the mob around Darryl. Hector didn't really care to imagine all the things this girl had already done with Darryl... but one thing was confirmed, he had a fan!
Jeremy Mayo and Brian Jeffords then stumbled over to Hector and they both looked like they had just got done mud wrestling or something. Brian was holding a plastic flamingo and gave it to Hector and said "Here ya go buddy". Jeremy began to giggle and then farted and ran away. Brian ran the opposite direction... not really sure what all that was about. Hector noticed a small hole in the plastic flamingo and decided to fill it up with tequila! He spent the rest if the day partying and getting almost everyone on tour to do a FLAMINGO SHOT! Everyone did one except Shaun Trayys.. for some reason he didn't trust the flamingo. All was well on the BCT.

Victor Lane showed up at Dauphin Highlands this week riding a big high from his win in Greece last week (as well as some excellent Grecian cannibus), but it seems he was a bit too hungover to put good golf together during his rounds. Lane put a pair of 59s on the board to start the event -26, but even though that would contend on most weeks, it certainly wouldn’t on the very forgiving Dauphin Highlands course. Victor found himself tied for 6th after the second round, but well behind Darryl, Jeremy, and Daniel at the top. Honestly, he wasn’t too upset about it though, as he still had more rum & cherry coke waiting for him in the trophy from last week, comfortably resting in the hands of gorgeous women back in Darryl’s RV in the parking lot. That level of complacency definitely showed in round three as Lane fired a disastrous 68, dropping him out of the top ten. Again, women, weed, and wins tend to ease the burden of poor golf, but he decided he’d put more effort into round four to shoot for a top fifteen when all was said and done.

Walking to the 1st tee for his 3d round Mike knew he wouldn’t be threatening the top of leaderboard this week, nonetheless he was going to give it his best shot and see if he couldn’t climb into a top 20 finish for the week. The 3rd round would start off par, birdie, par but then Mike would fire in 5 straight birdies with a par on 9 to give him a 6 under front 9. The back 9 would also be kind as Mike would finally start looking like the golfer of the past 2 weeks making birdie on holes 10, 11 & 12 and 3 more on 14, 15 & 18 to finish the back nine -6 giving Mike a bogie free 3rd rnd score of -12 and -29 for the tournament. Mike’s 4th round would star off a bit slower but with only 1 birdies on the 1st 4 holes but he would make 4 birdies on final 5 holes of the front 9 to be -5 at the turn, the back 9 would be even more productive with Mike grabbing birdies on 10 & 12 and finishing with 5 straight birdies on holes 14 through 18 for a final round score of 60 (-12) and -41 for the tournament. Mike was eager to get back to Darryl’s RV as Leo Nidas had asked for his help, something to do with a re-enactment from the 300, it sounded like fun anyway.

Victor went to the first tee in round four committed to make the most of the tournament despite being nowhere near the scores that Darryl A. Montgomery was firing this week, and for the most part, he looked pretty good out there. He opened the round -11 thru 14 holes, even conquering the pesky 8th with a birdie, so he was moving up the board and fighting hard for a top ten finish. Unfortunately he would fail to birdie the par five 16th, then he three-jacked 17 for bogey, and missed his birdie on 18, making him even over those final four holes. He couldn’t ask for better ball-striking, being 100% in both fairways and greens in regulation this round, but the putter went hot and cold on him. It was a valiant effort, but it seems like he’s going to finish just outside the top fifteen. When Victor got back to the parking lot, the party was raging at the RV. Darryl has 63 shots lined up on the folding table to celebrate his victory, and Jeremy had a stein with 55 ounces of beer in it ready to chug to commemorate his valiant effort to catch Darryl this week. Leo Nidas was on top of the party rig, dresses in some kind of spartan garb, reciting lines from 300, and John Yates was passed out on the parking lot from beer-bonging his 53 ounces. Off in the distance, about twenty parking spots down, there was a man sitting in his car looking their direction, but also making sly attempts to hide himself so nobody knew he was watching. The license plate on the car said SHNANGNS, and the guy looked suspiciously like Dwain Sponseller, one of the hosts of the flagship shows on TGCToursTV, but it was getting darker so it was hard to tell. Was he doing a special investigative report for What’s Going On?! perhaps, or was he seeing what all the fun was about? Either way, Leo Nidas yelled “Victory” from the top of the RV and Darryl and Jeremy began their liquid victory parades. All was well on the BCT!
