I am writing this post of my own free will and without duress. I am not in anyway shape or form being forced to write this. It is completely and utterly my own idea. Last week, I said some mean things about gregfordyce and his partner in crime NobleMan . What? I am not allowed use the term partner in crime, dammit. Last week I said some mean things about Greg and his legitimate business partner Kent. I called them smelly which is untrue, they both bathe at least once a week and I have seen the photos that prove it. Due do rules on decency, I cannot repost those pictures and to be honest, I wish I had not seen them myself but I apologize for my unkind words. I also called them uncouth, after several hours discussing what this word meant and a heated argument if the word was a insult or not, no outcome was reached but I was asked to apologize just in case it was a insult, so again I am sorry. I also insinuated that Greg and Kent hold designers wanting to be on the tgctours review show to ransom through blackmail and extortion. They both refute these allegations and deny benefiting from the show. They do confirm designers do pay a small fee towards the operating costs of the show, to quote Greg “ these kick ass gaming rigs do not pay for themselves” but these fees are a voluntary contributions and do in no way affect which courses get picked for the show. “ I mean” said Greg “ 99 percent of the courses we feature are Kent’s Lidar courses, if we were looking to make money, wouldn’t we use more courses from other people if we wanted to make money, so stick that in your pipe and suck it”. No other designers were prepared to comment about fees and charges for appearing on the show, all seemed to frightened to comment. So because of lack of evidence and proof. I humbly apologize for calling Kent and Greg, blackmailers and extortionists. With that out of the way, onto this weeks course by gregfordyce .This course which is set in the historical Malvern Park-Chicago, IL, best known for its connection to the Chicago mafia was picked purely on its own merits and is just a coincidence that’s its being used the week of my apology. Good luck, have fun but for the love of God, say nice things about the course.

Dan you missed your calling, you should be a stand-up comic, you crack me up Seriously, thank you so much for selecting Malvern Park for this week's Web.com event, I hope it provides challenge and enjoyment for the players! It's an honor. (Dan, on a completely unrelated topic, my friends in the Chicago Maf... er, Recreational Society, extend their thanks to you as well, and said a visit with you won't be necessary after all).

And for today's show, we will be hosting Greg's newly published course Stumbling Wallaby! He did pay me a large amount of cash to have it on the show though!

A strange first round for me, a few bad club choices and poor approach shots, left some long putts that I generally made for birdie, a few easier putts that I missed. I was one under after five, yet finished that back nine with 6 under. Between holes 9 and 13, no birdies, 2 pars and 3 eagles. Just four birdies on the back nine but still shot 8 under for those nine holes. A rare sub 60 round for me, finishing at 14 under. It could have been better had I not missed those easy putts, it could have been so much worse because of my approaches.

Started round two full of confidence based on my first round score. Was carried of the course after nine holes a broken man, everything missed, everything looked like it was going to drop, it did not. One over after nine, will continue at a later date after I visit a therapist, a sports physiologist, pray at every religious building I can find and maybe a few beers.

One of the easier courses on the Web so far this season, particularly with the mild 1st round conditions. Unfortunately my swing was a little off on approaches and putting wasn't great, ended up with a very frustrating 63 (-9) that should have been much better. Continued on with rd 2 and putting woes continued, a very poor 67 (-5) in the firmer conditions. Leaving me at -14 which I expect to be a few short of the cut (maybe around -18); hopefully the -14 is enough to avoid a Doyley red kiss this week. Onto next week.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

Would have been happy with round 1 had I not made a double on the 1st hole... Maybe I should do some putting pre round after not playing for a few days. Stupid mistake. After that I played well and got back to 10 under.

Round 2 and again - 10 under windy conditions. Normally not the conditions that I like but I'd say this time I did alright and - 20 should be fine for the cut. Unfortunately what was my strength the last couple of weeks, the putting, was not good enough the first 2 rounds and prevented me from shooting a real low round on this relative easy course. Good luck to all.

Started off with a -11 in the first round to rank...24th Round 2 didn't fare quite so well and finished -6 for -17 at the cut which i hope makes it this week with the way scores are going right now. Went ahead and played the last 2 rounds just in case and went -11 and -11 for a -39 total...probably good enough for 50th

Wow, some fella shot -19 for his first round... Crazy hmm. I could see meself shooting around - 15 with easy conditions on this course but -19... I don't think. You'll need almost everything to go your way.

Great start 1st rd 59 -13, had a slow start to the 2nd but got it -9 thru 17, then got the wobbles at 18, pulled tee shot into the rough, thought just lay up but no, plop in the water, chip shot easy, pull short left, left myself with a 40ft putt for par, missed by miles but holed out for a 6, guess I should be pleased with -21 after 2 rds but the last leaves a bitter taste.

I finished my second round at 3 under, and that was with birdie on the last three holes. I think it will make the cut but what a difference between the two rounds, round one, in contention, round two battling for the cut. And strangely enough, I enjoyed the battle. Rounds three and four will be played at a later date.

-9 for round 3 leaves me at - 29 for the moment. This time the swing wasn't quite stable enough. Putting was ok. Should still leave me in contention for a top 10.
Oh yea I forgot to upload this nice bonus in round 1.
