The USGA butchered another fine course SMH
Anyways, I enjoyed the test. It was borderline unfair, and it punished seemingly good shots, just like the US open in real life.
I am, however, happy to never play this course again.

Was looking at the leaderboard and saw this: What gives? Well with a PS4 gamertag as "The Bailer" how could you be surprised...

He asked us to delete his account. He didn't state why and I didn't ask.

I played on Xbox tonight to make it a little more challenging. I had 11 fast downswings of my 18 full shot approaches to greens. Long and left. That’s what she said. Sigh.

Halfway at -7 with a bogey-free round 2. Pleased with that. I'd pay money to see someone break 64 in R2, quite the test.
Terrific setup for the U.S. Open, every discipline required. Also, great use of light rough. A wayward drive is penalizing for sure, but it's still possible to hack into position for par in most places.

Stoked about shooting -9 in R3, -20 for the tournament. Missed some really easy putts, made some difficult ones, and had an ace on the hazardous 12th.
Excited for R4.

A couple of very lengthy video high/low lights from my 2nd round...Bogey free R1 - 6 birds and 6 boges R2!! Needed to birdie the last to have a chance at the cut so was pleased with that! This course really makes you think about how to leave some sort of opportunity to pick up strokes. not one to play when you're tired!!! Whether I make the cut or not, I enjoyed the challenge and the course. Horror putt... and tired mistake. Clutch birdie up the last

Maybe not the place for it and certainly not an accusation, but seeing that Crawsey is tied for the lead...Someone just sent me an anonymous email(which is crazy). Had a video of Crawsey pkaying a round. Nothing personal at all here, never spoke to the man, but... Wonkiest garbage swing I have ever seen and this is coming from a guy (me) who has missed like 6 cuts in a row. We are not playing the same game. Dissapointed. I won't comment on this further.

Who the heck are you guys? At least the PGA contingent. Week after week we biatch and moan the course is too easy, the course is too hard, tricked up, Fischer Price, flickers, cheaters, etc.
After playing this one I popped the top on a cold one, popcorn in hand and it’s like “Kumbaya” on here.
Does that mean everyone liked it or does it mean everyone was beaten into submission.
I hated this course passionately in the 3 practice rounds I played. Usually yelling something like this tricked up flocking course sucks!
So I played with no expectations other than to keep my controller in one piece. Did not look at this thread before playing my rounds nor did I look at the in game leaderboards. My motto was “play not to bogie”...
Anyway 1st round shot over my head. To be honest I had a few lucky breaks and was -6 after 9. Giggling like a silly school girl. Got in my own head for a minute and promptly bogied 10 and 11. Checked myself and went -4 for the next 5 and finished with a -8.
Second round I remembered why I hated the greens on this one. The pin positions on this were set by a madman. Shot -4 fairly clean round I think. -12. Cut made
Last two rounds were full of ups and downs. One double that I remember. Otherwise kept true to my “play to not bogie” attitude and shot -6 and -4 for -22.
It won’t disturb the top 15 or so. But after it was done I had to admit that I enjoyed not considering par a miserable failure on each hole. More like this please, just not every week. This was miles better than playing in 25mph winds for 2.5 rounds on a course that can’t defend itself any other way.
