Based on my calculations when I was designing the course and setting pins, I predicted about 3-4 under would be the cut, and -25 would be the winning score. With the new winds, there is more uncertainty but I think it will probably be about the same.
The uncertainty comes from seeing how the changed wins will impact the ability for players to decrease the distance to the pin. A lot of the hole locations give the best average score on the hole if you play it to about 12-15 feet, meaning you'll make birdie maybe 1/3 times, so if that distance goes to an average of 6-9 feet, you'll probably see the per-round scores go down 2-3 shots.
Hard to predict, but I still think -3/-25 is in the ballpark.

You were correct - however the tournament organizers decided to make some small changes to the winds of a couple rounds last week. They looped me in on this. I was good with them as long as it didn’t make the par-4s unreachable and they seemed to work fine in the few tests I did. Just wanted to say thanks for the course Dario. I'm sure there will be plenty of negative comments but this is supposed to be the toughest major. Have always enjoyed your hard courses going back to The Legacy. I'm sure SweetTeeBag will agree with me when I say "keep them coming". Happy to hear, and thanks for the words. It's not really possible to design courses that are fun for average players and also test the best in the game, so I've generally decided to focus on the latter. Hopefully Susquehannock can at least add some strategy and reward some players for playing away from the pin more to the safe spaces on the green, and punish players who don't really plan their way around as much.
Good luck this week!

If that is prerequisite from now on it could be the end for me. Every 4 or 5 weeks would be fine. Actually hoping the winning score is lower than -24 so my Twin State course keeps the record of nearest to par for the season even if it was a minor event. Those greens didn't even have an abundance of yellow on them either, maybe I should tweak the greens and add a few more run off areas for use next season if theres no TGC2020 scheduled

Opened up with a pair of 63's to be -14 at the cut. One bogey when i came up short and 3 putted but pretty much as good as i can muster.
Stopping there for now as my head hurts.

I was playing good (for me) at -4 through 21 holes, then went triple bogey-bogey-bogey and lost all chance of making the cut. Shot -8 on holes where I got perfect downswing tempo, and shot +6 on holes where I got incorrect downswing tempo. Landed in a few unrecoverable spots due to the tempo monster. Would have made the cut easily on PS4

Front 9 of Round 3 did for me - very slow D/S @ 3 put me in a horror spot - made a 6. Played well the rest of the way for a 66.
Round 4 - played real nice but the putts weren't dropping - bogey free for another 66.
-22 total - a little disappointing after the start but fine margins - with a bit more luck it could have been much better. Outside shot @ a Top 10 i'd say

So this prediction thread has apparently become the tournament thread?

I would easily trade in my XB1 for a PS4 if I would have known how bad the XB1 was going to be...not just for this game but for all games. XB1 is inferior in almost every way

Started R1 first hole with a double and was at +3 a few holes later. Made a comeback to get to -4. Then things went terrible for the front 9 on R2. Some off tempo shots put me in big trouble and was +7 thru 9 scraped back down to +4 and even at the cut. Probably going to miss it by a couple strokes but I played on to finish with a -2, -7. Total -9. So many 6ft birdies turn into bogeys or doubles. Too frustrating, glad to be done. Good luck!

Making my first start on the PGA Tour in several years with a special exemption generously granted by Doyley. Was then challenged to shoot under par in at least 1 round of the 4.
Standing on the 12th tee at 8 over par, promptly Tin Cupped my last 2 balls into the lake. Currently holding up play after sending my caddie back to the car to grab another box of Pro V1's. Will be in the beer tent behind the green until he returns if anyone needs me.

So this prediction thread has apparently become the tournament thread? Seems to be. People were posting their scores here this morning so I changed the title to "Spoilers"
