You may all go to Hell, and I will go to Texas.Welcome to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the home of (the fictional) Shiner Hills GC. The area is home to gorgeous fields of wildflowers, rolling hills with lots of exposed limestone and granite, and scenic vistas filled with live oaks and elm trees. The course itself features 3 tees and 4 pin sets, playing at 7,414 yards from the back tees. Shiner Hills features fairways that are amply wide and receptive greens. But the moderate changes in elevation and fast, undulated greens should provide a fun challenge for all. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to channel your aggressive side if you like, although danger will be lurking if you do. Pin set 4 will provide the toughest challenge, while pins 2 and 3 should give you the most scoring opportunities. The course should be really fun with any wind conditions, but I enjoy it the most with high winds. Hope y'all give it a play and I'd love to hear what you think, good or bad. Here's a few pics, I'll try to add a few more later as well, and maybe I'll even be treated to some good karma and someone will pop up with pictures that make Shiner Hills look even better than it really is...

This is on the schedule for jwtexan, TheDominator273 and myself to play tonight I believe. We will stream it live on my Twitch when we do. I'm sure jwtexan will love this being from Texas and his insatiable Shiny Object Syndrome!

You may all go to Hell, and I will go to Texas.Welcome to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the home of (the fictional) Shiner Hills GC. I may cry... and gamesdecent will love that Crockett quote. Played this last night, after midnight, minutes after publish. This thing is awesome. Interested to see if anyone agrees, but I think 5&6 here look like a Texas version of 6&7 at Pebble. This is a great second course. You obviously took all critiques and notes from course 1 that was a diamond in the rough and built this one up even better.

Still love that clubhouse - gave me a lot of inspiration for how I wanted my contest course’s clubhouse to look, so will be sure to tag you when I post that! Looking forward to giving this a play later this evening. Big fan of the creek as well.

lessthanbread, I appreciate the kind words, glad you enjoyed!
b101, can't wait to see what you've come up with for your clubhouse, I've really liked the pictures and videos you've posted so far of the Hidden Gem.
And I'm pumped to watch y'all stream it tonight, I hope it impresses!
Meyo, I hope you and anyone else that gives it a shot tonight have a fun round, I really appreciate all the plays.
