Excellent course. Got tricky in round 3. Came out hot with -12 in rd 1. Not great rds 2 and 3, had to put the sticks down for the day.

Another round of - 8 to be - 16. Comfortable cut. Round 2 could have been better had I not made a double 15. Hit a bad shot to the right followed by a flop too hard and 3 putts later a 6 on the card. Felt like the green was a little too slopey there around the pin. At least I flopped in for eagle on the next hole to make it feel less painful but it was 2 lost shots either way.
By the way does anybody know when the money and points will be added from last week?

Made the cut on -18, did get away with a couple in rd 2 although I did have some putts that did,nt seem to take the break and one that appeared to go over the right 3rd of the hole, but that's video golf I guess some go in some don,t. Thought the course played fair and it is very good on the eye, the type of course you go for a nice Sunday morning stroll.
As anyone given Admin a nudge regarding last weeks results, I missed the the cut last week but I,m still showing up with 3 promo marks when it should be 2.

Round 3 went a little disappointing with good approaches but not enough putts dropping. But in the end it could have been worse than - 6. I was thinking a good last round could still get me a nice result.
But then round 4 was just one of those rounds where nothing goes your way. Not too many good approaches, somehow almost every approach I was right in between clubs. And zero putts dropping. -2. Better luck next week.
Good luck to all still finishing

-1 and -7 in my 2 rounds so a missed cut. A real love-hate relationship with this course haha.
Course felt pretty good, just the conditions and hole placement in hole 1 were absolutely brutal for me - couldn't get anything going. Ah well, onto next week - good luck to everyone still to play / people who made the cut for their later rounds!

Overall, I really liked the elevation design for the course. Elevation judging is probably one of my better strengths as my scores can attest to. However, for a little constructive criticism I would have really preferred a couple challenging par 3s with sizable elevation changes to fit along with the course. I understand the intention was to probably give players a break with more straight forward par 3s, but I definitely prefer the tough approach shot over hard breaking, tucked pin locations that punish even the best of approach shots. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the course and was happy to have some reachable par 5s (Although, I think I only made 1 eagle).
R1: -7 R2: -10 R3: -10 R4: -7 Total: -34
Tied for first on xbox, but I doubt it will actually lead to a win. I do think I made the top 10 for my first promo mark, which would be cool.
Streamed all 4 rounds if anyone is interested in my twitch channel below. Much love to the people who joined and chatted <3

Finished up rd's 3 & 4 with a 66 (-6) and a 67 (-5), missed a lot of make-able putts, for an overall -24 total; mid-table finish but really just happy making the cut these days.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

On a side note, I want to thank gregfordyce and NobleMan of the tgctours review show for bringing this course to my attention. In case you don’t know, Greg and Kent host a course review show twice a week, showcasing new courses by community members here on tgctours. Look, I know they are a bit uncouth, come across a little bit loud and smell a bit but they do do a good job. Sure the fees they charge designers to have a course featured on the show could be considered extortion but I am sure they have expenses to. And yes, maybe threats to give courses a not approved rating unless those fee are not paid on time could be considered blackmail but who does not take advantage of desperate innocent designers from time to time. Funny, story, gforce41 when he submitted Rawhide to the show, refused to pay the deposit. He woke up one morning the find the head of his driver in his bed with him, you should have seen the look on his face and his screams could be heard across the entire golf course. Oh those wacky tgctours review guys. Anyway, tune in, you might find your new favorite course and a offer you can not refuse. Thank you Dan for scheduling my course, it's quite a thrill to be deemed "Tour Worthy"!! Great clip, I had totally forgotten about the Blue Brothers version! And thanks again to gregfordyce and NobleMan for featuring my course on The Course Review, lots of great advice on that show! Also a tip of the cap for expert advice from ACES-R-WILD on the Beta. Hope the troops are enjoying the course, I see from some of the comments that course is holding up, it's meant to be somewhat challenging and tournament ready, but the shots are out there to be had... Quick note on the name...the course started out simply as "The Ranch" with a California setting. I went with Santa Ynez to give it a historical theme--there was (and still is) a ranch there I remember hearing about on the news when I was kid...so I named it after the owner...
