Well it's 'slightly' breezy in R1, but very playable in R2, so I pretty much hit my targets for the 2 rounds:
-6 -12
Given that me saying -18 last week had no chance of making the cut (and then doing so and getting one of my better finishes of the season), I'm going to use that same train of thought here:
so -18 will miss out by 1/2 shots I'm 'sure'.
Play well.

Round 3 in with another -12, but it was the strangest first 4 holes I think I've ever played:
1st: Nice drive, lovely wedge to 5ft - left edge putt - broke so far right it was crazy - awful par. 2nd: Straightforward 2 putt birdie 3rd: 9 iron downwind par 3 - landed the ball IN the hole - it jumped just out and up the flag and then dropped back in the hole for an ace! In 2 years of playing, I've never a ball land in the hole and stay in (eventually) Worth ghosting that hole of mine for the PC players! 4th: Repeat of the first - except the putt was just inside right from 4ft - and broke off the planet again - another awful par!
On to R4...

And it's breezy again in R4 (but not close to R1 winds) - solid enough except for taking 4 to get down from 10yards on the 7th (par 3) - infuriating as that double was my only dropped shots of the tournament.
-6 for -36 total
Nice enough course - except for a few funky bits of green sculpting...

More tempo issues than ever. Had no chance when 11 of my 18 approach shots were fast, slow, or very slow downswings. Second round only had 7 of my 18 approach shots off downswing tempo.

Turo Wero is one of those courses I have such a love/hate relationship. Pretty much every time I play it I come away from it thinking I gave up multiple strokes on it, which I suppose makes it a good course but it is also one of those courses I can score really low and follow it up with a -2 or something. It is actually a course where I don't playing in the higher winds because they can really help you out and hold the ball on the green in a headwind.

Not quite sure what happenned here.
Shot a solid 63 in R1 in tough conditions that was a few putts away from being very good.
R2 in the easy conditions everything that could go wrong did - limped to a 67 and a certain missed cut @ -14
Oh well

**** I will be skipping next weeks event - the course is not my style... However, I will be here with a bag of popcorn to read the comments..

Can't believe someone could scoop the Lotto twice in 2 weeks! The odds on that are astronomical!!!
Acapulco must be a hell of a place.

Decent opener, I guess. Reserving complaints for next week since I basically know my PC can’t run that course at more than flip book speed.

I haven't been on here in quite some time. Just been struggling all year with like 10 missed cuts I believe I don't know if the following is going to hold true for the next couple rounds, the next few weeks, etc...but I thought I would share this with anyone who might get some benefit from it. First off...Sitting at -17 after two rounds, and should make the cut no problem , since that is currently top 25 on PS4...I know it will be more like top 40, but I'm making the cut none the less After an abysmal two rounds last week, the week before that, the week before that, etc, etc...you get the picture. I have done nothing but try to get a straight line every swing since week 1 and of course keep my tempo P/P. But, in this game I just can't do it. I'm not going to use after market controllers, or weird techniques, so I decided to just hit it and go with what feels comfortable, that would be the same swing I've been using since TGC 1. Now with the two previous version, hitting a straight line was not an issue Well, after my second round last week, I decided I would try something different. I decided to just move the thumb stick up and down just like I did in TGC 1 and TGC 2. The result is a consistent looking C or even a K swing line. I streamed this last week just to show anyone who was watching the results I'm now getting, even though my swing lines look ridiculous and nowhere near straight. What I realized is that every swing produced a shot that moves to the right...a fade. This means I KNOW where my shots are going. This whole season, I had no idea where the shot was going, I was just hoping it would go where I needed it too. I put this to the test playing numerous courses in all conditions. Now, I still may have a mediocre round of -5 or -6, but that was on Susquehannock (Major) and believe me anything under par there is GREAT, but the majority of my last several rounds have been between -9 and -13, round after round, except for an -8 at Magnolia, but hey, it's Magnolia and considering I struggled to break par there this year, I think that'a a great improvement. Maybe I'm late to the show and everyone else has just been hitting it not looking at their swing lines, but I just figured this out last week, and I'm a little excited. I feel like I'm playing a new game in a way. Of course you still have to be able to hit the correct tempo, but I haven't had any major issues with that thus far. I'm curious to see how I fare with my last two rounds this week. But, considering my last three tournaments have ended after two rounds and my totals for two rounds combined were like -11 and -12, this week seems like a HUGE deal...I shot -12 in one round this week...Haven't done that in months Hope this helps anyone who has been struggling. I'll keep streaming rounds so people can see my swing lines and see what I'm talking about. Maybe this has all been a fluke for the last several days...I guess we'll see. Good luck all! #Letsgoalbert

Kinda screwed myself on this one. I had been messing around with some hybrids and clubs that aren't in my normal club set. I guess somewhere I started the round to see what direction the wind was coming from (Sometimes when it says south it is really southeast) and by doing that I locked in that club set for the round, so I shot myself in the foot right off the bat. On top of that I'm not sure why I have issues with high winds. It isn't the distances because I was pretty good with figuring out the math but it always seems that in high winds, especially when it comes from the side, when my ball hits the green it doesn't seem to bounce the way I expect, instead the ball is spinning and goes in all sorts of weird ways. I had a 6 iron into a headwind hit the green on just a slight upslope and spin back 10 feet, that was a first. Fully lofted LW flops in a 7'oclock wind has 0 check. It all just seemed random.
I think I shot a -5 with no bogeys which I suppose is good all things considering but in practice I was 4-6 strokes better. In the end I think I had two holes were the bounce, roll out was just right and put me within 10 feet. The other birdies were either par 5s or 15+ foot putts. In the end no drivers, no hicups in tempo this is all on me and my own inconsistency/issues with the game.
