A great course with a nice peaceful mountain hideaway vibe to it. A few holes which invite you to risk it with a bit of shot shaping and shooting over or around trees. Definitely one to try more than once in different conditions, great job Simon and Tom.

Thanks Pat, glad you liked the course. We tried very hard to make it a course that changed how it plays with different conditions and I think we succeeded with that. Glad you enjoyed playing it.

Layout and Routing is pretty good and dam fine so is the outlook Course plays tough on Pin 4 off the back tees
Rockwork is rocking, same with planting Fairways intertwine well here, have that natural look and feel, fairway contours and elevations are done well.
Bunkers have nice organic shapes and look good Good sizeable greens too, plenty space to tackle the pins, like the contours of the greens also
Some greens dont have run off fairway areas, ball lands in rough, chip onto green Some of the Landing areas off tee with driver are fairly narrow, couple hidden fairways sort of out of reach around the corners, so struggled here , need to shape some shots just to stay in fairway., found the course to be strategic
Good Variety of holes, you cant use driver off tee on every hole which is a good change
Hole 1- Thin bands of rough near green, mower widths would have been desirebale.
7- Fairway landing area is a bit too narrow, maybe you designed it to be harder
9- Par 5, I couldn`t use the driver off tee, 2nd approach was a bit narrow also with 3w
11- There is steam ommitting through the green?, gave that volcanic feel though
14- Bit tight up there where fairway meets the green, just caught my eye, no biggie
Not an easy course by all means for me,great outlook and feel, plays well for me
Planting, rocks, waterfalls were top class. Shaping of fairways/bunkers was pretty good, everything looked and flowed well
Looks like this collab turned out well
Cheers
