I was looking forward to playing this as SAM builds his courses with plenty of risk/reward options requiring the golfer to make some critical decisions and there's often a short-cut or two in there to try as well. Having played my first two rounds I wasn't disappointed, an interesting layout Sam and fun to play;another good selection hmammoth. Played ok in rd 1 but left a few approaches just a little too far away (for my shiiiite putting), had a 63 (-9). Rd 2 and I got into a bit of a groove and also made more putts for a 58 (-14) to be -23 at the cut. Will finish up later in the week and see what conditions Dan has in store. Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

Really enjoyed the course, I didn't play that well but my putting was out of this world. (I appreciate the greans are maybe not as tricky as most) A pitch in on the last hole didn't harm by chances of making the cut for the first time at my 7th attempt but believe me, I can still screw it up from this position.

I managed to hold it together for about 50 holes when a couple not great swings lead to a less than stellar end to round 3 and it bled over into round 4 after shattering my confidence and I limped to the finish line from what could have been a top 10 to probably middle 20s. So very frustrating but i did really enjoy the course...very fun to have a lot of eagle chances out there and for a while i was making the most of it. I had 4 in round 2 (3 on the back 9).
-12 -13 -10 -5 -40 total.
Now on to see if i can qualify for the US Open...not bloody likely but i'll give it the ol college try

Through my first two rounds at -25 (-14, -11), stoked to make the cut this week even managed my first ever hole in one (I think) on TGC tours on hole 8 in the first round. Really fun course to play - really loving the eagle opportunities as it can really swing the momentum of your round if you can sink one or two of them.
Hoping to finish my final 2 rounds tomorrow.

After a good first round of -12 it was looking like a 7th attempt at making the cut might actually come off. However, when I walked off the 12th at -3 for the days my chances were in tatters. I wouldn't care, my overall play had been better than round 1 but my putter was it's usual cold self. I'm not sure what happened at that point but all of a sudden everything clicked, -7 for the last 6 holes giving me a score of -22 for the first two rounds. Hello weekend! I've missed you. Round 3 saw my putting from round 1 return with probably my most accurate approach play on TGC 2019. The result was a -17 round which I believe is my lowest round ever! -39 after 3 rounds should put me pretty high on the leaderboard. 1 more solid round to give me my best finish on TGCT for years.(Last top 10 was 6th place July 2016 although I'm not expecting to be that high)

went through on 2 practice rounds last night at -12 each... but the -19 cut line- and probably -20!! if 3 more can top the mark, is intimidating as hell- very little room for error here.
I'm sure sweaty palms will result in a MC by 1 stroke- and involve another round of controller aerodynamic testing.

Finished up and played ok for rd 3 although my swing started to get wobbly towards the end 62 (-10); onto rd 4 and my swing troubles from the end of rd 3 continued, struggled to a 67 (-5) to finish at -38. My best score for a while but disappointing after a good start; at least the course was enjoyable to play with a nice variety of conditions.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

very shaky first round- missed a bunch of short putts- somehow got around in -10 second round it all fell apart- sitting at -2 thru 11 with a swing going all over the place. then played the last 7 at -8 to finish -20. including a 15' putt on 18.
I wore out my mini punching bag-it wasn't pretty.
eta- looks like one more -20 or better will move the cut line from -19 to -20.

The winds were high and the pin posttions difficult. I managed a few vital par saves and a few hard earned birdies and I was in a good position going onto the 15th (Si18). Every round so far I have risked a shot through a gap in the trees with great success. Not this time. Straight into the trunk and way in trouble. I managed to get in on the green in 4 and just missed a long putt. The only bogey of the tournament. That's really two shots dropped. I finished with a respecable -10 and a total of -49. Very very happy with that. Possible top 10? I wonder how many places those two shots have cost me?

Made the cut at -21 but had a poor weekend 65, 63 leaving me at -37, too many slow backswings and fast downswings, thought the course played very well, plenty of risk and reward and always a chance to get up and down should you be offline unlike the US qualifier a foot off the fairway and you,re dead, look forward to next week and to see what Daniel,s got in store for us.

Finished my final 2 rounds. -11 in r3 and -7 in r4. Puts me -43 overall which can't really complain about, just happy to make the cut. My putting was terrible in round 4, but pretty happy to finish -7 in that round given I was -1 through my front 9. Looking forward to next week.

Bit of a frustration week here. First unexpectedly missing the cut here. Then finishing 1 stroke from a top 10 in the US open qualifier. Feel like the game is there, just got to put is together in 4 rounds...
