Getting ready for my Saturday golf and only one round outstanding, life is good and it looks like it won't be as wet as an otter's pocket in Bolton.
The Party of Fore are currently 22 points clear at the top though a good final round from Bill can cut that to 20. The Noses and Pods are tied on 60 though Bill can nudge them ahead and the comeback kings are coming up on the rails and will be only 6 points adrift if Bill doesn't win.
Hunter retains a 4 point advantage in the singles standings despite his substitute tailing off a little. A small pocket handkerchief could be thrown over Avery, Leon K, Ernie, Leon A and Les who are separated by a single point. Leon Anderson had the week of weeks with a maximum 8 points and the season's best total of -40. Elsewhere the captains Joe and Frans are locked in their own battle whilst everyone else is much of a muchness.
Play well Bill and thanks to everybody for the understanding shown in what has been a complicated week.

Dear Noses ( Crazy Croc, Art Vandelay, honeybadger64), What a week! Now that the dust is settling, a few things are clear: - I still don't like the course we played this week
- I will get my first demotion mark in CC-A this week
- I am a lousy captain - only scoring two points this week
We have also witnessed quite a few of our rivals dropping down to pro clubs recently; clearly, they are scared of the three of you! So, Marc, Greg and Art, tell me what you want me to do: - Continue using Masters clubs and rely on you guys to get us the points, while I continue to hang on to my fantasy of getting better at using Masters clubs - which, according to the PGA thread on the US Open apparently means I will have to start what they call 'flicking', whatever that means...
- Accept that I will not get better at Masters clubs soon enough to actually assist you guys in showing the Tripods, Wonkey Donkeys and Party animals that Noses will be Noses and that me dropping down to Pro clubs as well might be just what is needed to help us to victory in the end by a Nose-length... and thus drop down to Pro clubs as well.
As your captain, I will gladly follow you guidance in this, so let me know! Best wishes, Frans PS To our rival teams: please take this the way it is meant: an embarrassed captain asking his team to help him make up his mind and NOT an attempt at starting a club debate; anyone that has decided to drop down to pro because they like that better should do that, no problem

Week 4 Final ResultsIn a first for the Dirtbags, everything is done and dusted by Saturday afternoon GMT. Grats to James who matched Leon Anderson's full house of points. His win in the final game meant that the Party People remain 22 points clear of the Pods and Noses who are in turn only 6 clear of the no longer Wonky Donkeys. A strong showing by Leon Keet and his gang next week could see them secure the team title with a week to spare. They have been really strong across the board throughout this season. In the individuals Hunter has breathing space but a posse is tracking him and they look like the one from Butch Cassidy, never mind Paris, Hunter, next time I say let's go some place like Bolivia, let's go some place like Bolivia. fransslabak for me use what you want to use, you are trying to get promoted out of CC-Pro so get better with the masters, we aren't going to catch the New England Partygoers anyway and look at my performances as a justification that pro clubs don't always work, the last couple of weeks I've been between clubs so many times it's ridiculous.

Good to have Celtic Wolf back, even if it is only for a week. I'm pleased with his play this week. A couple of other G Hosts for the week, could of sworn one was called Randy Bugger. On to this week we're going to Ireland for The Rolling Oaks Open at Ardoilean which has been designed and built by some Damned fellas.

I decided to tee up early for my 1st round and scored -11. I came out of the blocks on fire and was 7 under after 7 holes but gave 1 shot back on the 9th. I birdied 3 of the next 4 holes to be 9 under with 5 holes to play but had pars until the eagle on 18. Really enjoyed the layout and elevation changes on this course.

cappy1 Good luck this week. I played a practice round. The winds were 9-13 mph. I decided to stick with the master clubs, and had a typical master club round for me. +1 through 12 holes with a boatload of missed putts and non p\p swings. -6 on the last 6 holes which included eagles on both par 5's. -5 for a 67. I hit a 385 yd tee shot at 18. Funny round. Play well.
