Unfashionably, I think I’ll make the cut this week. R1 was pretty gash, but got going in R2 and 3... R4 was a little disappointing to be fair. Putted really well but had 2 3 stabs to drop a couple of shots. Good track. Didn’t like the 181 speed personally. Much preferred the 187s. Some pretty retarded scoring by the “elites”. A fairly solid and somewhat encouraging -41 for this medium has been. Not even close. Mark -41 !!!! Come on my friend...Top 10 is possible !! You changed my life when I was "medium player", also I decided to pay you one personnal manager since the last week...and...straightaway...you sign - 41 !! Wonderful ! I ask to everybody to well stay behind Mark untill end of week...Except me of course... Thank You

Thought you retired... I just want this game to be fun again and it's just not. And in case it wasn't obvious those are not actual round scores. I'm just stirring the pot a little. Ahhh, the cynical-maybe-real-score-but-joking post to get a rise. It’s phase 27 of 49 in the TGCTours experience. 😂 I pledge to refrain from API debates this week. Only played R1 and enjoyed the course so far. Really solid green sculpting in my opinion. Play well all.

I'm sure there's sooo much to look forward to in the next phases. I put together a -43. The course is great but the conditions really didn't play into the strategy of the holes as well as they could have. I guess everybody has avoided the dicktree on hole 1. It almost got me in rd 4 but nah. In guessing -44 is top 10 because I was 9 when I wrapped up. Goooood luck

Have a long week ahead so I wanted to get the first two rounds in early. After a nice practice round of -14 with a huge first nine, I quickly found out I had no tempo during tournament play. Not sure if it was GPU driver or just me, but there was some stuttering from time to time during my swing. A restart didn't resolve that issue so I played through. After my second bogey on the front nine, pretty much tried to really bare down to see if i could get a semi respectable first round score and try to make the cut with a good second round.
Nope. Can't expect to make the cut with a 1.63% Long distance putting first round and 16% second round. Had only 2 approach shots first round get within 10 feet and just a handful round two. In the end this is my golf game. When my tempo is there I can put up some good numbers to compete at this level, when it is like was today I shouldn't even be on the pro tours. Sad part is I have yet to figure out a definitive reason why the tempo just suddenly goes to hell. I did much better on the second 18 holes but it was far too late by then.
Oh well extra practice for the PGA Championship. GL all!

Blew 2 eagle putts off the green somehow, but also made a couple. Truly strange rounds where I parred a ton of easy holes but managed a -8 and a -9. I think.... I THINK...I'll make the cut.

Walked of Rd1 feeling I scored better than I played for a -10 including a lovely ace on 10. Then a sh%$-storm of missed 10 ft putts (including one the way out of pearl - 3 ft) for a -9 which could’ve, should’ve been a -13-14. -19 at the cut which may be alright for cut 1 of this boys PGA dream. Enjoyed the course. Play well all, except Gavlaaaar cause you sir, be shyyyyte. DP.

Damn. What could have been for me this tournament. In at -48 and hopefully that somehow holds on to sneak into a top 10.
My putting blew goats per usual as I missed a couple putts under 7 feet and i just couldnt make enough extremely easy uphill 10 to 20 footers to compete for a win.
Was probably the most frustrated i've ever been in tgctours after rd 1. Shot -12. But was 18/18 gir with all 18 attempts inside 22 feet. Missed (3) 8 to 10 footers and (3) more very easy 12 to 15 footers.
Can't expect to ever sniff a win if i cant make a putt over 22 feet in 4 rds. And only making 3 or 4 putts over 13 feet in 4 rds....ughhhhhhh. Miracle i shot -48.
My full wedge game let me down which is usually a massive strength. But it seemed like everytime i had 7 8 9 iron in it was a tap in. Weird.
The course is very nice and setup on a great looking piece of land. But I wasn't a huge fan of every green being as big as texas. I always enjoy the courses with smaller greens.
Also wished that a tour version of Harrenhal was published with more tucked pins. Outside of maybe 5 of the 72 hole locations....felt like every pin was way too easy to bounce a long iron into and get close.
Anyways, good luck to all still to play!

It was a game of two halves for me, -17 at the break. Gave myself a tough half-time team talk and came back out to shoot -27 in the second half. -44 looks a decent score, but only if I make the cut. Blow wind, blow. Sorry, I mean good luck to all those still to tee off.
