That low?? Thought it would be more! How far do these things tend to change?
I defo don't want to be on PGA, and I'm not sure about Euro either...
I think that’s the scores through 3, not the final scores.
yep, i know
I didn't mean it was "bad" scoring, was talking purely in relation to my scoring and where i might end up. (also am a tad surprised, given the size of field and some of the low scores i've seen mentioned elsewhere, that it's not a bit lower...)

Cut line watch! Round 3 leaderboard is up, current cut lines at 9am BST: PGA -32 Euro -29 Web -23 CCA -22 What a week to be alive in TGCT for me-self. I am watching both scoreboards with an ounce of worry as I am 3 strokes off the lead in CC-A (with a solid 4th round in the chamber) and hovering around Giraffe's magic number for Web promotion. So I really have 2 chances to get to the promised land. When the dust settles on Sunday, will I make it to the level I've wanted to get to since TGC 2 (a tier with all players playing Masters clubs) or will I end up falling just short? I think I need a cocktail.

You've got to remember, a lot of those low scores are irrelevant to the likes of us. They need 64 players across the 3 Pro tours, if any of the already Pro Tour players get promoted it just opens up a space behind them. So as a CC player looking at the leaderboard you can remove all Web and Euro players from the equation, you need to be in the top 64 CC Masters players, that's where the Web cut line is. Similar for the Euro cut line, Web players and below know there's 41 slots above them up for grabs. Those Euro players above you don't count because they'll either move up to PGA (and so create a space behind them) or stay where they are. Top 41 Web and CC players using Masters is where the Euro cut line is. The CCA one is more complicated because you have to factor in all the pro clubs players above you and also add spots for any CCA players that have been promoted.

I'm going to get my same desire of only versing masters players, but i think it's going to be " careful what you wish for!"

ah yes, of course. I keep forgetting the variety of permutations...

Iron sharpens iron, my friend. CC-A is Pro clubs purgatory and I'm ready to move on from it. I've played some Web events over the last month and I love the challenge and I feel like I could at least flirt with making the cut (I hear the cut is a fickle lass and when you make her it feels sooooo good but when she rips your heart out it stings baaaad)

I've been doing the same! Checked the last few web events and played those courses in high wind and fast greens and with no mph on the wind meter. was weird at first, but getting some good scores now. I think i could make many/most cuts, and maybe occasionally get some high finishes. I love the challenge too. Still getting used to masters putting AND now "real" wind, feels super fun/challenging/realistic.
But i think i might promote above web, and the scoring in euro in significantly higher! Not sure i'd enjoy it there...

Currently in CC-B and still playing on Pro Clubs so just looking to get into A
Think I should be ok finishing on -35 but frustrated at my -4 final round it could and should have been so much better.
Next few months I will experiment with Master Clubs so that when the next Promo Event comes around I can have have a crack at getting into the big leagues.

I thought it'd be more like 12 max. See Doyley's OP in the Promo Events Info thread - exactly 20 to go to PGA due to people taking voluntary demotions last week......

Played the last 3-4 Web events and would have missed the cut by 1 twice and made it by 1 the other two times. I'm really excited to be playing with all master club players. If I miss 5 straight cuts and get sent back to CC-A so be it, but I would like to at least take on the challenge!

Take it from me and quite a few others, CCA is not the place to be playing with Masters clubs. Do what you want obviously, but I'd recommend playing with Masters in all your society rounds and switching to Pro in your TGCT rounds. There's just too many really good players using Pro at that level, it's really difficult to be competitive using Masters. Good luck though, your score will definitely be good enough

Good luck though, your score will definitely be good enough I can attest to that. I shot absolutely lights out through 3 rounds with very minimal mistakes and I'm still not in the top 5. It is truly TGCT purgatory. I cannot wait to be gone from it. I think if I ever got demoted back that would end my TGCT career as it's just not fun to play in CC-A. It was fun having to shoot scores and seeing those double digits numbers for awhile but at this point in the game I want to feel like I'm earning scores instead of just pin hunting.

Yep, for this reason I hope the US Open design contest courses are used heavily on TGCT for the last part of the season.
