-11, -10 for a -21 at the halfway point. Very nice course, and with the right wind and some of the pins, a challenge for sure.
Wanted to finish because I was swinging so well, but Easter with the family takes precedence. 😎

Yes, maybe.😋 I really don't want to move up right now, would really like to get a win in the Euro Tour before I move up. I've played the last 2 PGA events just to see how I would stack up. I would have made the cut and finished respectably in each. I'm sure I will be moving up eventually, but like I said, I would really like to get a win first.😎

Course doesn’t seem so bad but first round missed a lot of holes by inches for -5. Second round started off -2 after 2. Then very fast downswing causes bogey. -1 after three and birdie the next to get back to -2. Then a double bogey. Couldn’t get up the hill on a short 9yd Chip. Rolled back to me 3 times 🤦♂️. Fought back to -5 for the round but some really stupid and stubborn mistakes kept me from going low on round 2. I shouldn’t be near the cut line but I can’t complain bc I don’t feel I played poorly was really hitting it well 2nd half of the second round just mental errors caused an uphill climb. Loved the course, though!

Finished up -14, -4 🤬. All the shots I hit in the early rounds were used up.
On to next week.

Played great, -40 total
EDIT: Why did I say -40? Lol I meant -48!
Edit 2: It's -40 I guess, the website is counting it as a par 72 but it's a par 70

Dreadful start. Slow downswing on 1, had to settle for par. Sent my flop 20 feet long on 3 and parred, then 3-putted from 8 feet for bogey on 4 after putting my drive 20 yards from the green. Fast downswing on 6, had to settle for par. Pulled my tee shot right on 7 and left my birdie putt a couple feet short. Had an uphill lie and heavy right-to-left wind on my approach on 8 and the ball went dead straight. Missed an 11 foot birdie on 9. Actually, I was consistently shanking my shots to the right even though I have perfect downswing and straight lines and right-to-left wind, makes no sense.
Birdied 11, then had a fast downswing on 12 into the water and bogeyed. Birdied the next 4 holes (including a 3 inch birdie on 16 after hitting the pin) then had a very slow downswing into the water on 17, hit a fast downswing on my pitch, missed the putt, missed the 6 foot double bogey, and finished with triple bogey. Finished with a -2 68. I've had some good rounds in societies lately, pretty sure I played bogey-free the entire promo event, but every time I go out and play my Euro rounds it's a complete disaster right from the start. 2 bogeys and a triple in my first round here.
More fast downswings and missed putts in the second round but I was making progress, -6 through 14, then I shanked another slow downswing into the water on 15 and missed the par putt by a couple inches. Ended up with a 63, -9 through 2 round, probably my 6th missed cut in 9 events.

Round 1 -8 ... nothing would drop first few holes, parred everything other than my birdies so solid opening round. Round 2 -11 completely different start to the round, was nailing every putt I looked at including an eagle on the first par 5 .... slowed down a bit toward the end of the round but very happy with another bogey free round especially in the high winds. So -19 at the cut should be good enough, now to try and pick up my 4th promo mark on the trot

A few tempo issues in round 3 meant some missed greens but managed to dig out a -9 So sitting at -28 thru 3 rounds .... let's see what the last round has in store!

Finished off with a -8 for -36 total .... probably not enough for a top 10 but still happy with that effort seeing as I was bogey free for the tournament 😀

I thought my shot at making this cut this week went in the water with me on 12... but birdies on the last 6 gets me to -15 through 2 and a shot at the cut.

I guess this course just isn't for me. Can't seem to make a putt. Got out of the 1st round at -5, better than I think I deserved. Kept my bogey free streak alive at least, now at 90 holes. Going to be a struggle to make the cut which is going to HURT LIKE HELL since I finally got my first promotion mark last week.

Looking like a -11 cut? I'm shocked it's that bad after the first round scores.

Yeah, I think it will be -11 for the cut. I got to 12 under with a decent 7 under so I think I can sleep for the next week or so at least. For those keeping track, my bogey free streak ended after 101 holes, due to the diabolical 12th hole pin placement for round 2. You go slightly left, you're in the water, you go a bit right, you're in a tough bunker with your next shot downhill towards the water. I chose neither option, and went WAYYY right, right of the bunker, then my flop shot was short of the green etc.
