I'm nearly demoralized to the point of giving up, as I literally don't know what else to do at this point. I have good vibes about this course, shot a decent round for 17 1/2 holes in R1, and still felt like I could go out there and shoot -6 or -7 in R2 to make the cut this week. Instead, nothing but a tempo nightmare! Thru 14 holes in R2 I had 13 pars and 1 triple (a very fast downswing into the ocean), then proceeded to go bogey, bogey, birdie, double bogey to finish with a +6 77. That puts me at second to last place with a +2 this week, and that was WITH TRYING!!! Honestly don't know why I even do this anymore.

Finished up with a 68 (-3) and 66 (-5) to end up with -22; pretty disappointing after a -10 1st rd. Oh well onto next week.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish.
Hey Eric keep punching away mate, tempo is a b#tch.

Victory i feel the same way about this game as you. I'm getting to the point of deleting the game from both my consoles, the game is'nt fun any more.

I’m not at that point yet because I love the concept of the tours and having a career mode with friends, plus the designer is my creative outlet, and I have a blast playing casually with friends. The shame of it is that this “problem” is in no way the fault of TGC Tours. They have to deal with a lot of moaning from frustrated people like me over something they have zero control over. Haha. I guess the forums are my frustration outlet because I know there are other people out there that feel my pain. 😉

I’m assuming you have it on PC as I’ve seen you streaming with the admin guys. I know it doesn’t necessarily help, but I’m rooting for you 👍

Rest assured, there is nothing wrong with this course. I would’ve enjoyed another two rounds on it.

Sure enough, I've decided I'm done. Making 35% of the cuts on the Web is just not giving me any type of competitive enjoyment what so ever. I've requested my demotion. Have a good season Webbers!

The worst part about when you’re struggling is that you just need to loosen up and the birdies will come, but week after week of missing cuts just makes that impossible.
It’s also that random tempo. I played the first 15 holes at +3 or something before I quit. I really should have played a practice round and realised the tempo was going to be tough. Some days it just seems so easy to manipulate the tempo, other days it’s just a raffle. I wish I knew what made the difference, I’m convinced there is one. It’s absurd to think we all just lose ability on XB (or PC to a lesser extent) periodically.

Eric I hope that your sabbatical down on the Beginners Tour lets you enjoy golf again because that should be the reason we all keep playing a video game. I reckon you'll find a nice groove with the new clubs and will eventually be able to transfer that to the Masters again so you can redo Q school and get back on the main Tours. Cheers. PS Does this now mean you'll be playing your DAM events with the new clubs and dominating the leader-board

I still say you are spread too thin with everything you do. Remember when it was playing some rounds and an occasional stream? Best of luck.
Missing cuts should be strikes if you can clear them by simply making a cut but adjustments would likely be needed below Pro to keep movement alive. Its a joke.

I feel like Web is the last level before purgatory. I couldn’t do it in CC-A against the guys on Pro clubs, I’d do what Eric has done and go to the beginner tour. I’d actually like to have a second player that played on the Beginner tour. Doyley, is that allowed? Not sure if I’ve asked before.

No, one or the other is the policy - TST is there if you need a 2nd event per week.
