Happy Easter everyone and welcome to The Old Man of Hoy by acesgalore. As it’s is Easter, and at great expense to myself, I have hidden chocolate golf balls all over the course with one special golden ball which will bring great fortune to the finder. The hiding spots are off the beaten, so finding the fairways and greens is pointless. In the spirit and honesty, since I know where everything is hidden, I will stay on the greens and fairways( hopefully) while you all enjoy the Easter golf ball hunt. It’s a shame in one way though, since you will all be missing a stunning golf course, that would have tested every aspect of your game, I need to be really careful with my golf swing as any off line shots could be badly punished, especially on the costal holes, the danger will not end there for me, with undulating greens ensuring that I need to pick my spot carefully to ensure I have a birdie chance. Maybe you guys can comeback some other time and play the course itself, it will be well worth your time. So enjoy your Easter hunt everyone and I guess congrats to me for my first win of the season.

Those chocolate golf balls are delicious Dan. Thanks for the write up and tasty hidden treats!

Glad to see this course on tour! I knew early on that this course had great potential. Now... if only I did! LOL

The leaderboard for the first round was quite daunting...was expecting a much easier course for those types of scores. Damn did i lay an egg at -1...should have stopped playing today after my lackluster promotion rounds. Went ahead and played round two and was cruising around much better and thought if i could just keep it up and string a few more birdies in a row MAYBE i could scratch out a cut...then a 3 putt bogey on the back just took the wind out of my sails and finished -6 and -7 overall. Followed up my first top 10 with this dud...

All over the place in rds 1 and 2 to finish -8. Tempo problems in the fairway, misjudging putts. 3-putt from 8 feet. Very Fast drive into the water on the short par 4 and triple bogeyed it. Probably MC, I was certainly due for one.

A fantastic venue for my first tournament as a webber. Just demoted from the euro, but you know, it's going to be fun no matter what. Hope hmammoth is kind enough to me after all

I saw you have returned to the web Pablo, having you play on a higher tour than me just did not seem right, so I arranged with the euro tour boys to pick courses that you struggled on, you are welcome and welcome home.

Yes, I agree, when has been seen an spanish playing in a higher level than THE irishman? That's unacceptable

Really nice course. Shame I’ll only get two rounds on it after a poor E first round.

I have a special place in my heart for this course, really like it a lot!
I played a flawless 17 1/2 holes in R1, was sitting -5 thru 17 with no bogeys, then hit a great drive on 18, a safe second shot to the middle of the green, and then proceeded to 3-PUTT!!! I just don't get it, I'm SO snake-bit in this game when I play on this tour.
I will fight like crazy to have a good R2 so that I can play the weekend rounds on this beauty of a course.

Hoping you make it Eric, good luck 👍.
It’s a bit windy in R2, and the last couple of holes played particularly tough. If you can par 15-18 you’ll pick up shots on the field I think.

Nice track; with some interesting strategy choices off the tee and into the greens. First rd I didn't go on the great hmammoth Easter egg hunt; stayed in the f/w's and hit to the greens to end up with a solid 61 (-10). Second rd found the wind harder to judge accurately, apparently I didn't go wide enough for Easter eggs but ended up with a poor follow up 67 (-4) to be nice and safe on -14 at the cut. Looking forward to a great Aussie ANZAC Day tomorrow; up early for the Dawn Service at the local RSL and a couple of beers with some old diggers, then back home to watch the Gallipoli Dawn Service on TV. Follow that up with a couple of TGC rounds before I settle in to watch the regular ANZAC day AFL game and remembrance ceremony. Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

Hey guys. I hope the course is treating you all well.
I'm curious if any of you have streamed your rounds?
