If you guys have suggestions on courses around our area, let me know and I will see what I can do to get them designed! Would love to see two of my favorites, The Ace Club and Jericho National - all these Lidar courses really make me want to get a PC and try this out!

I will start working on Jericho National Golf Club right now. That is a gorgeous course! I will step through the entire process from lidar to Open Street Map and Chads Tool.

This course is very well done, and plays a lot tougher than it's shorter distance would have you believe. Definitely a 5 star effort and making its way onto my societies schedule.
I also posted on you new course request thread, if TPC River Highlands or Liberty National has LiDAR available, that would be great!

If you guys have suggestions on courses around our area, let me know and I will see what I can do to get them designed! Any interest in finishing one from the North Chicago area? I started one and quickly realized my computer was not capable of running the game. So I went back to PS4 for now. I still have the Lidar files and have just over half the course mapped on OSM. Wynstone, right? I found this guy Netfreakk from the area who may potentially be interested in LiDAR stuff. Haven't seen him around for a few days though, must've been busy with work. I recommended he look at The Highlands at Elgin as it's a public course with some seriously cool holes on it but will also let him know about Wynstone.
NobleMan , another area course suggestion that looks like it could be a worthy candidate: Makefield Highlands. Do you know anything about this one? Just NE of Ridge at Back Brook is Neshanic Valley, it's another Hurdzan course iirc. No idea what the data quality up there is like. If you finish Back Brook before Gheebuttersnaps is done with Alotian, you'd have the first high quality Fazio RCR in the game =)
If theclv24 tells me that the MA LiDAR data isn't really up to par then I might want to drop Black Rock Country Club and pick up Fieldstone (DE) instead.
burysaints29 Looks like you beat me to recommending The Ace Club. If no one else took it up I was probably going to pick it once I finish the 3-4 courses I have already started. I looked at all 18 holes on 3D gound level view and it's pretty spectacular. You might like my next one as well which is TPC Jasna Polana. Should be in the same realm as Jericho layout-wise so a step below The Ace Club, although both Ace and Jasna are Gary Player courses.

I will definetly check out Makefield Highlands. I have played it many times. It is a links style course. Since it uses the same lidar data that I have been using for the rest of the local courses, it should be awesome!

Selecting Jasna Polana was part of a decision to try to find lesser-known but still very good courses to re-create. I was basically deciding between it, Jericho National, The Ridge at Back Brook, and The Ace Club. Following this course I will be working on Canyata Golf Club (an ultra-exclusive top 10 course in Illinois) and Black Rock Country Club (a very good course in its own right but overshadowed by the neighboring Boston Golf Club). NobleMan and his Bucks County work has a similar effect.
It's looking pretty good so far! The water is a pain but the bunkers need very little work. They match up extraordinarily well with the photos on myphillygolf. They were taken in 2014 and the LiDAR data is from 2015, should be more than close enough to use as a reference source considering I found no obvious changes until the 2016 imagery (and even then they were very subtle). Inspired by how the course looks in those photos I am using the Autumn theme, which suits it perfectly. www.myphillygolf.com/uploads/bausch/JasnaPolana/index.html
