Can I assume that if there is no data for 3DEP Lidar, If SAR and only data in the 3DEP section, I am out of luck? I see that the format is completely different. Please advise. The formats that can be downloaded are ArcGrid, GridFloat and IMG files.

Your best bet is to contact anyone listed as a contact to ask for the pointcloud files in classified las or classified laz formats. These are the accepted standard formats. Everything else I can't guarantee will give expected results with playing surfaces.

I am getting an aerial Lidar survey done for a course in India. The firm that does Lidar surveys there was talking about having 0.5cm density stuff. I told them I was looking for a classified Lidar file, but that got me thinking - is there a gold standard for what the LAZ files should contain? Ideal specs.

Out of curiosity, what are they going to charge you for an aerial LiDAR survey?
