Really like this course.
A good, and fair, test, good hole variety, subtle and realistic planting.

Played pretty well to shoot 69...waypoint issue on 14 wth lob wedge default off the tee.

I'm not a good player, so I understand I'm not the target audience for these courses. I just try to judge a course by whether or not I have a reasonable chance at par if I play smart and my swing isn't garbage on the day.
I had a reasonably good swinging round here, and about average putting. I was able to put together a -2 on the first pin, with 3 birdies and an eagle, and one bogey and one double. It's not quite a course that I think could exist in real life, but certainly a course that I found playable at my skill level in TGC. Good variety to the holes, and a number of reasonably safe areas to play to on each hole. I hope the other courses in the contest play as well as this one, good job!

It definitely has some fantasy aspect to it, but it's hard to avoid with the caliber of players on the PGA. (Bradley Stuart shot -54 for the Masters) But that compliment, coming from you, I've already won. |
