No event for me this week - caught in the "medium player limbo" of being too good for some/not good enough for others. So I'll just watch this thread and cry a little inside instead this week...
Good luck to the privileged peeps playing. Gonna go out on a limb and say the winning score already looks to be posted... some shooting Tyler!

. Gonna go out on a limb and say the winning score already looks to be posted... some shooting Tyler! Yep. Was thinking something in the -48 region. I actually cannot comprehend that score.

All I was saying is that the top guys never stream (Sloaner occasionally I think does). I get how the elites are ultra competitive and want full concentration, but I'd love to see a few of them flip a stream on so we could see how they do it. Not like it's hard to stream in 2019. The last couple of times I've tried, my old faithful PC just can't handle it. I already have to run the game at pretty low settings to get consistent FPS, though a low one at that, but at least it's consistent and playable. If/when I stream on a course that's semi-taxing due to planting or some other factor, my FPS drops into the "guessing game" category whereby I'm having to start my downswing soooo early in the animation due to lag that it's basically just like giving up at least a few shots per round to the field. I'd also venture to say that the pitchfork mob that assembles from time to time when they see someone swing "too straight" has made streaming rounds for some not really enjoyable, but that's just a guess - and god forbid you stream with a flick swingline!

-53 is a scary number tbh i had -50 in my head as a target i wanted to try and reach and that would of had to be faultless but after lipping an eagle putt from 9ft on 15 in rd one and it running off the green and nearly going in the water i hit a flop for the 12yd shot i had left perfect perfect and it came back to my feet so delofted it and hit it fast perfect and it came back to my feet again. Ended up with a 7 and had a chip on 18 that just missed and rolled 30ft past. On the whole i putted real good and hit some great approach, shots dug deep and was stoked to get to -47. Not a massive fan of this version personally. I much prefer reuss' version as is alot more accurate and plays better but it is wat it is. Good luck all left to play. Gonna take 4 silly rounds to knock tyler off top spot this week.

Just a lowly Webber with dreams of grandeur at my favorite course/tournament. Going to fight my inner urges to play all 4 rounds and going to try 1 per day to enjoy this magnificent course. Shot a respectable -5 after carding a bogey on the 1st after fast hooking one into the trees. Had a nice string of birdies going and then the lowlight of the day coming on 15 where i had a 10 ft putt for eagle to go to -7 and i 3 putted...parred out from there. I don't know how some of you guys do it shooting double digit under par on all of these courses...impressive.

One of the best posts of the year... Comes complete with a hint of suggestion toward mandatory streaming....? Where can I sign up?!?!? Whoa, definitely not insinuating that there be mandatory streaming. All I was saying is that the top guys never stream (Sloaner occasionally I think does). I get how the elites are ultra competitive and want full concentration, but I'd love to see a few of them flip a stream on so we could see how they do it. Not like it's hard to stream in 2019. On PS4 it's one or two button presses and 1 minute to make a Twitch account. Anyway, before this gets potentially misconstrued, it's their choice to stream or not and I'm not saying there's any sort of cheating going on...just strange how TGCTours is such a vibrant community with lots of great streamers, but the top guys all seem to keep to themselves and quietly destroy the rest of the field. Ha-Ha! Passively subverting...... push the button. Stand back and watch the storm brew.

streaming it does not solve. If the player is consistent (gets more or less equal shots), math solves. And it makes it even easier if you watch a round with the real wind. I like to see where the ghosts land the ball. Consistency is everything. I believe that by being able to repeat a swing, even if relatively crooked, you can use it for calculations. On PC it was impossible, but on PS4 ... The downside is that it takes time. Long time. I made a straight field (giant green) oriented north. I mapped the tacos and distance (with fade / loft). with winds of 0 to 16. With the grid serving as a parameter, I got good results. I see, even on youtube, some players with shots that do not leave the vertical blue line. Achieving this, and not being completely straight (because it can not) you win the field. Remembering some past topics, some excellent PGA players, had a problem with the controller, but they adapted. They, on account of the training, got many straight shots without any cheating (and I believe). Now they continue very well, but their shots are probably accurate (and maybe similar), but not straight. Hence the fantastic results. I hope the meaning of the translation remains as I wrote (Portuguese) so as not to be misinterpreted.
Insane. Other than having a PS4, I have no idea how you top guys manage tournaments like this consistently. Pretty sure my -8 thru 2 rounds won't cut it. Yet here I am having to compete in the same tour with these kinds of scores. Not sure why I bother to tee it up each week after all these years of mediocrity and being good enough for the top tours, but not even remotely close to ever compete. Alright, done my whining. I shouldn't expect to really compete as I only play this a couple hours a week excluding tour rounds, and play purely by feel. Wish we had more elite guys streaming their rounds so they could show us how they do things....oh well. Carry on. Great scores. One of the best posts of the year... Everyone has patches where they can’t miss. The great guys just do it for longer, and more consistently. Anyone in the top100 can get hot and post a ripper round, but the top 20 do it almost 100% of the time, that’s why they’re the top 20.
And they play on PS4.

The worlds longest Taco line is just over 600feet - so good enough for measuring up to 5wood 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮👍 How did you get to measure as far as the driver Alexandre?
