I think this plays way more fair than the past 2 weeks. Last week not only did missing by an inch mean a 30 foot putt, but always a 30 foot putt over red and yellow slopes. It was either perfect approach for a birdie, or you're 2-putting for par. I finished first 2 rounds -15. It's too bad I cant handle the pressure of playing great. Folded like a cheap suit on the back 9 each round. My dog left the room after the 5th missed GIR in round 2. What a disgrace. I'm happy with the -15, but what could have been? Good two rounds, the course plays fair but can catch people out. Quick word of warning, if red slopes are not your thing, might want to take a holiday next week, the red slopes at Killarney are scary but if you use them to your advantage, that feeling is something else. Using slopes as a strategy, awesome. Crowned greens, pins on spines, challenging but not very awesome. That biarritz last week still gives me nightmares.

-2 round 3. Water off the tee on first hole followed by more water. Tripled the first stinkin hole. -7 in round 4. Shot 6 under on the back 9 after I got used to the very fast greens. So that's -24 for the week.

Does anyone else have issues with the wind meter on the first hole of every round? I just teed off in the 3rd round and it said default wind but the wind meter showed maybe 1-3 mph wind i am guessing since the meter was so low. I aim straight and hit a P/P drive right down the middle but the wind blew it dead left and into the water. I take my drop and now the meter shows it at 3/4 full which would explain why my ball went crazy left. This happens almost every round for me and my first tee shot is a total crap shoot

Maybe try to go to the overhead map first, might give it a chance to fill up?

I thought it was odd the wind was that low but after a while i just went for it and paid the price. Maybe i'll try the overhead map thing next time.

If you just move your ball marker side to side, it corrects itself every time On a side note: Played like trash in R1 for a -5 Putted like Tiger in R2 for a -8 Thought I was in Caddyshack in R3: -3 Havent played R4 yet

Who the hell designed this course I was on the edge of my seat playing those rounds lol. All kidding aside thanks dan for using my course on tour. Sorry the greens were tough out there fellas. My intention was to have shorter approach shots into tight pin positions but with the wind some shots required longer approach shots into the green. I’m working on making bigger greens in future designs if I’m gonna have tiers and shelves around pin locations. But again thanks dan and to everybody for playing the course.

The course played tougher than I tougher it would but we are in the pro tours here so should be able to handle anything thrown at as, even if I am doing the throwing. The course played great, I shot -1 in the second round and each dropped shot and missed birdie was down to me and my habit of forgetting course management and just going for everything. The course is a tour course all day long, each week is different and we as players have to adjust to the different setups and conditions. More courses like this and there will be more tour spots in your future.

Made a cut.
Woohoo!
Happy with that 3rd round, shame about the abortion that was the 2nd and 4th. Confident I’ll be able to make some ground on the money list by the end of the season, might even get back to Euro on current form.
Huzzah potatoes, Huzzah!

I hope everyone suffered in the last 2 rounds like I did so my choke job doesn't look as embarrassing.
