R2, #3 hole at Tantallon, RRCC.
Short par 4, I drove beside the shared green into the bunker...then proceeded to put the ball in the WRONG HOLE.
LOL. Comedy at its finest, boys and girls!

LOL, Not sure how it would be handled in real life.
In HB world though, the game just put the ball hovering right on top of the cup it dropped in, and putted from there, WITH the pin in, no less, and the lie said it was on a green. LOL

I had this happen to me also..... different course though. I love the fact that your golfer is not even looking at the ball as it rolls in......

Had that happen to a playing partner of mine IRL. Holed out from 100 yards or so, unfortunately he was 30 yards to the right and it was hole 18 and not 9. Fun times. We played it as free relief (like ground under repair) and he dropped it within a club length of the hole. When we got back to the clubhouse the club pro was there so we asked him about it. Apparently you play it as a manmade obstruction, like you would a sprinkler head, and you place it at the nearest point of relief. So you just place it as close as you can to the hole without it being in your way.
