I see an appearance by "The Machine" ijs1543 this week. Masters tune up possibly? Irrelevant i feel Tim, Unfortunately he's not inside the Top 110 on Fed-Ex points list, and as far as i can see not even showing on the points list at all, plus i don't think a past winner's invite is on the table either. I thought former Masters Champions get an invite. Could be wrong. Rob Dallas and Chris Gilbert should be on the list as well regardless of tour they are on.

If the former Masters champions don't get an invite then you might as well cancel the tournament.

Played this Texas/California hybrid last night. Usual hum/ho for me. I liked the course ok. Had to pull a lot of shots out of the back pocket for this. Seems like just about every approach was between clubs. Made my share of putts in rounds 1 and 3 to make up for the fact that I was having issues getting close. I wonāt be any threat to the leaders, but made the cut and hopefully top 35ish. The usual.
-10 -8 -10 -6 -34
Looking forward to the Masters. First time trip for me. Iāll be the guy hacking around and eavesdropping on conversations hoping to find a nugget of wisdom to keep me from embarrassing myself.

Well, strewth Eileen!!! That must hurt!
Anyway, I'll tee it up later I think... maybe a missed cut due to all the pew pew pew I'm involved with nowadays and the complete lack of practice - could be on the Euro soon... but you never know!

I thought the course was an absolute joke. Nowhere in the California hills would you see drops of 80 feet, totally unrealistic! Then add to that, every time I hit a shot without looking, it went into the rough! Also every putt on these greens that is not hit at the hole....misses! Total farce. Results were not my reasoning if that is meant at me. I played poorly, HENCE COURSE SUCKS!!!!!!!!
Fixed it for ya

I thought that The Masters also involved whether or not you were in the Top 25 of the previous Masters tourney. I guess I won't be playing either. Unless, I get 100+ points this week... Season 1 and 2 were on the same game and made it easier to come up with those fun qualifications. With the drastic gameplay changes between TGC1, 2 and 2019, we're going with strongest field based off FedEx this year. Qualification criteria for this event have been posted well in advance so there should be no surprises for active members.

Fixed it for ya Fine. I won't critique any more. I'll just bash from now on. Specifically pointing out things didn't work, so not going to bother any more. I'm surprised we are even playing on a version of Augusta for the Masters any more. Designers don't think it's enough to get full tour stops, they have to take away a Major on one of the most iconic courses around (Pebble). Not only have the quality of courses increased lately (which should be LESS of a reason to take away a Major to get designers to compete in a contest), so has the high and mighty attitudes of a few from that community around here. Not going to bother to give (what I thought) were thought out opinions any more if that is the attitude given back. I'll just call it in simplistic, crude terms any more.

I still couldn't give two ***** if the other Masters tourneys were on the other games, it is just wrong in my eyes that previous champions are denied a spot. Is it really that difficult to just add a name to the list?
That sounds harsh but its a genuine question.

No horse in this race, but from a newer guy perspective, if you have won The Masters on TGCTours since the begining of time you are a Legend. That said, not only should you have a spot for life, it should also come with a cool gold asterisk!š

How did I get dragged into this Terry Grayson? Haha! Although I agree Terry, most of the whining on these Tour threads is a result of bad play, so I guess having a go at the people who create new stuff for everyone to play is the most logical point of blame. FFS Not sure if Iām one of the designers that Bob apparently thinks have a superiority complex, but thereās a few facts he needs to straighten out before throwing shade at ādesigners taking away the U.S. Openā from Pebble. Letās not forget that Tim, Jeff, and Doyley run these tours, not the elitist designers youāre taking shots at. Maybe consider the fact that the design community is bigger, better, and closer-knit than ever before, and how that benefits all of the players up and down the tours with awesome courses to play. We donāt require affirmation for that, but we donāt deserve our work crapped on either just because people make some bogeys out there. LOL! Carry on...
