This week, the web.com is proud to present Old Reynolda Club by jwfickett ,hmm there seems to be a mistake there, let me start again. This week, the web.com is proud to present Old Reynolda Club by B.Smooth13 . Ok, what the **** is going on here. Who designed this course, this is really confusing for me. I mean who am I supposed to give credit to. If I give credit to Job first, does Justin have a hissy fit and ban all his courses from the web? If I credit Justin first, does Job take all the golf balls, goes home and complains to the admins I was mean to him? And what about you guys, the web players. What if while driving the ball on the first tee, you slice the ball right because your swing was off, the ball ends up 50 yards from the fairway behind a tree, next to a goat( tgctours copyright laws state that if there is a goat on any course, credit needs to be given to VctryLnSprts as he owns the rights and naming rights to ever goat in the game) that stares at you constantly as you try to take your second shot. Who do you blame for this crap course with to much elevation, with to many long holes, that are to short, with narrow fairways that are to wide in places with greens that are to slow and yet to fast on beads that break right as they go left on this broken game, where every other player has a advantage over you because they have a different controller on a different system and have better internet than you? Who do you blame, Job or Justin? Or is it Justin or Job? Screw this, I’m out of here, you guys can sort it out, good luck and have fun.

Enjoyed the course a lot. Funny how that happens when you don’t play as bad. Tough conditions with it so hard and bouncy, even without a strong wind.
Had an ounce of luck with a horsecrap hole out after a very fast put me in trouble on 2. Played ok, better than recently but left a couple of unforgivable ones out there on the greens, and a fistful of others that could also drop on a better day. Didn’t stick any to tap in range, no matter P/P or otherwise... Nearly holed out for albatross on 18 and missed the eagle, -2 finish. 3 back early on XB. Will play R2 later in the week and see how far back I am.

I think my goal for the rest of the season is just to bring my cuts made percentage above 50% for the year. I know that seems silly, but boy do I miss a lot of cuts!

7 from 8 tournaments for me on TGC2019, looking at 6 on the trot this week, I surely must have some strikes now.. You’ve got me covered Eric. I just wanna stay above CC.
Popped in and saw a -11 on the leaderboard, so this may not be the week I break my drought - that’s some outrageous scoring.

-8 is middle of the road, with a -13 up there. Be nice to hear from some of them...

Lipped out a putt, missed 2 by an inch, and ended up -8. There's a lot of hitting to an elevated green that slopes front to back. And a lot of red and yellow slopes around holes. And this was pin 1!
This is another course where a few practice rounds will help. You can't try to knock down every pin or else you're rolling away. I was hoping the short par 4 was going to play down wind. The fairways goes left to right and is fun to drive on pin 1.
Biarritz holes... take 'em or leave 'em? I'm leaving.

Had fun this week, I found what works for me. Only time I make the cut seem to be when I don't practice and go in with no expectations. Definitely no attacking pins with very firm/fast conditions. Gotta pick the right landing spots to catch the right bounce and roll outs. Should be playing the weekend at -19 after 2 rounds.

Shot -22 this week, but got the fair play email so score will not count this week Bummer cause I played in every event. Controller ive been using is only 3 months old. Oh well, will go out and buy a new one. Hopefully this isn't a 3 month occurance.

They had a great article about the Biarritz hole in the most recent volume 7. In short, it's probably the most polarizing template. I find that I like the Biarritz greens utilized in different settings than the traditional template design par 3 the best, for example the 8th at Sweetens Cove where the green is angled 40 degrees and on a par 4. Thanks for leaving comments on the course. Justin did a great job re-working it for me and we had fun putting it together.

Well I think my final round left me wondering what if. Started out -6 (just couldn’t hit a fairway). Round 2 -10, played well. Round 3 played awful, hit 3 balls in the water and finished with an eagle for -5. Carried that eagle over into round 4 and played probably my best tour round ever with a -14. Due to the poor play in rounds 1 and 3, doubt -35 is going to be good enough to win. Very interesting course, personally enjoyed the greens, very fun test. Best of luck for those left to play and well done to the designer(s)

Just played a few rounds for pin 2 so I've played about 8 total rounds. The course looks great. Something I'm struggling with that this course does very well is the sculpting around the holes. It's one thing to sculpt greens and fairways, but getting smooth hills to blend isnt easy, for me at least. The thing about the biarritz is I just don't think it looks good. I get its purpose and read a little on how it was developed. Just personal preference... I think Sweetens Cove is one of the best courses on TGC. It was a lot of fun to play. It's pretty crazy. If anyone hasn't played it I highly suggest it.

-7 second round. Had 3 water balls, 2 of them just unlucky, the other playing aggressive chasing the cut - as well as 3 that were dead in the heart inches short. If -9 doesn’t make it, I’m confident going into next week 👍

Don’t think my -9 will hold up, but that -7 second round felt good. Will rue the 2 stupid misses in round 1, don’t think I’ve missed any short putts ever before those 2, was just careless. I WILL make it next week 🙏🏼

I'm so inconsistent *sigh*. I play well in the first round, ok in the second one. For a -18 and then everything goes sideways and barely can hit a perfect. To be honest I do enjoy the hard fought rounds and lower scores, just wish was the same for everyone . -1 and -4 for the the final rounds. A week that could have been much better but seems to be ok anyways. Good luck to you guys and to those missing the cut, you'll get it next week
