Wow, rob4590! I see you must've had worse luck than I did. I could never figure out the greens and missed a plethora of putts throughout both rounds. Maybe I can sneak by fadgewacker??!?!

I think it could be trimmed down to 48, 32, or 16. Maybe stay the same. 24 could technically work as well.
For me, I am not a fan of the Group Stage portion. Never have been. I have advanced from it, not played in it (on PGA when Rocher only were allowed), and have (likely) been eliminated in it, so have seen it from all ends of the spectrum. Should be Single Elim right from the get-go. I think that may be part of the issue - feels contrived and like a watered down compromise solution?! I realize this is a IRL mimic going on here. Maybe that is where some of the apathy comes from?
Bring back the wheel for the matchups and go single elimination! It isn't going to matter to someone who has a bad week/round regardless of format, but it does make it harder for those squeaking in to the back end of the event to advance onward in the Group Stage format. One upset is all it takes to advance under single elimination. Possible for sure. But to up their game to (mostly) out-play three others statistically "better" than they are in three matches is less likely. Also seems odd to be able to advance with a loss (2-1-0) or with just one win in three matches (1-0-2).
I would like to be able to play the PGA main event if you donโt qualify for the Weekend. Basically, no points for matchplay unless you make top 16. Not sure if you are commenting on the current structure or how you would like it, but missing the Final 16 still nets you $$$, FedEx, and WGR points. How well youfinishvrecord wise vs. the others who also missed the last 16 determine positions 17 thru 64. I have a typo up there, but mobile is not cooperating, so I am leaving it. ๐

Congrats, mde8965! Well played, old friend. Rooting for you to keep it going! Whaaaa?? How the heck? Oooookkkk I guess rounds 2 and 3 let me sneak through. Dax you started out well. But who did you piss off to get Brad in your group? Actually that group is full of heavy hitters (Fadge, GW AND Brad yikes). Everyone is watching/waiting. Heck no way I would do that. Knowing what I would need to do each hole would be an automatic choke for me. Good luck in your next 2 matches.

Wishing all the best to my fellow competitors in Group F. Good luck and have fun! I am a shell of my former self so with simple, consistent, and smart play you guys should have no problem.
Update: Played RD1-RD2 so far... meh.

Gave it my best in my last 2 matches, but it won't be enough. Both pretty pitiful rounds. ๐๐
I've not been playing hardly at all and it doesn't help. The greens just didn't sit well with me. Meh. ๐ณ๐ณ
Might've had a chance against Garcia, but I got rick-rolled by HB multiple times. Go figure. ๐ก๐ก
Good luck all going forward! ๐๐
Edit: By "chance", I mean not losing 9&8.

Looks like im gonna scrape through by the skin of my teeth. If alan wins i get him on the head 2 head. Putting was shocking in r1 missing nearly everything by 2 clicks but adjusted in r2 n r3 and putted better. Shame my tempo was funky in patches.really made my arse twitch looking at results coming in. Slow at top really does suck balls!!!! Good luck all in the knock outs
