I'll ghost you Ben since you've already played. But I can wait and try to play anyone live whose paired with me if you want. Just let me know. Assuming your name is "rockin' in the free world". Not the 1st 3 letters backwards which was the notorious player dlw. Yes. I'm a big Pearl Jam fan even though that's technically a Neil Young song.

Good luck to Mr. Peterson (bigstick370) in R1. Had some good (holed out from a bunker on #17) and some bad (missed a shorty putt on #7 for bird and had a 50 footer coming back for par) and some ugly (fast DS on #1 tee then a slow DS on approach on #2). All in all a slow-ish start followed by a back 9 charge to go -10 for the opener.

A solid -5. Brad will be shitting himself.
Actually played well, but didnβt take enough good chances.

Rd1: Not sure I could have putted worse. Missed at least 3 inside 10ft as best I can remember, and just played poorly all around. If the match makes it to 15 (I think) I might have a chance, thanks to a timely hole-out, but I doubt that happens.
Rd2: Much better, but nothing crazy. Tied Mr. JDangle's round.
Rd3: Solid, can't complain, but still a few head scratchers.
All said and done, -32 3-round total, but definitely don't feel entirely safe to advance, by any means. GL to my fellow group members, have fun!

How do you play this thing again? How to you know who you're playing? You just play your round to the best of your habilities?

How do you play this thing again? How to you know who you're playing? You just play your round to the best of your habilities? Gonto the OP. There is a challonge bracket link. In it are the groups. Find yours and click on the Matches tab. You'll see three matchups with your name. Going from left to right those are the sequential order you'll play.

Well, didn't play well, but didn't play horrible. The second match is where I choked so badly...missed a crucial five foot birdie putt to put me up one, which would have given me a win, but it wasn't meant go be. Won my third match, but only because my opponent had some awful luck on a stretch of five holes.
Honestly, the best person in group L is going forward (Dave). He will provide a better challenge going forward. My play is just too inconsistent. Still had a blast!! Love this match play format. Off to practice for the Masters.
Best of luck to all going forward and CONGRATS!

I'm pretty sure my ghost will not be much of a challenge for you. My game has pretty much fallen apart the last two weeks

My favourite match so far has been E2 between Chris Wilson and Scott Fulton

Well...definitely didn't expect those results, especially not that quickly. Feel like I got lucky in that first match, and may have caught guys on their off rounds otherwise. Good playing group M, plenty of really solid scores in there.

Played OK in R1&2 but R3 was a tale of inches, where as I was hitting lips of green side bunkers by an inch and lipping out putts. Just one of those round where nothing worked right. Good luck Justin!

Not sure I can make it happen, fadgewacker. My new schedule is complete bullshit. π‘π‘ However, I'm going to play Round 1 tomorrow. Possibly Round 2. Depends if I sh%$ the bed. ππ Edit: I can attempt Round 2 Wednesday at around 730-8 am CST. Whatever odd ass time that is for you. ππ

I for one would love to watch live some head to head match play from this tourney, does that have a chance to happen?
