This week on the web we have the classic course from tgc2 by reebdoog , the much loved Eanskatt Goss Golduppor, I mean Eimtsagt Focc FolfClupper, that’s not right, it’s Einstein Boss Golfflub, dammit, it’s Einsteinium Fodd Galfupper. Screw this, I’m starting again. This week on the web, we a golf course by Brian Jeffords, it has 18 holes, is played over four rounds and damn impossible to pronounce, anyone that can pronounce the name will automatically make the cut. Interesting story about this course, it was originally going to be called My Super Awesome Fun Happy Place Golf Club but as Brian was typing out the name, he started sneezing and it ended up being called what it ended up being called what it is called. That is a 100 percent true story.Anyway we all lucky enough to be playing one of the all time great tgc golf courses, have fun out there and good luck. A little side note the secondary event on the pga this week is also My Super Awesome Fun Happy Place Golf Club, using the same settings and conditions that I picked, so show those pga guys who plays on the superior tour.

First out as usual - went -7, -7 and hoping I make my first cut at -14!
If I do, I finished -6, -2 (bah) for -22

Another course I love, and one of my favorite in the reebdoog collection, so hoping for good vibes once again this week!

I'm going to guess the PGA and Web leaderboards will look very similar. I'm predicting cut lines within 1 shot

Standard fare. 4 pars, 2 double bogies, 5 bogies and 6 birdies. Not worth playing round 2 when timing is a raffle and flops magically turn into pitches that go OB.
I miss having fun playing this game, it’s just frustrating to me now. When you’ve had a heap of slow downswings so smash it forward as hard as you can and still get a slow - what’s left to try?
At least I’ll always have 4 letter word.

"...smash it forward as hard as you can and still get a slow..." In case it's helpful info, the downswing isn't referring to how fast you push the stick forward, so you don't even need to smash it like that. The tempo is measuring your transition between the pull back and push forward, so essentially you're pausing too long before you're "smashing it forward as hard as you can."

Hit the ball great but as usual drastic elevations just screw with me...i can never figure it out to get it close enough to score well. Combine that with another round of awful putting and i'm missing the cut yet again...4 of 5 events now. My work travel has really cut into my playing and i get enough time to speed golf through 2 rounds and it's just not cutting it at this level right now. Very frustrating when i was easily -8 - -10 every round to go to -2, -4 and missed cuts.

Started off great with a -10 1st round, then got progressively worse each round, -5 2nd round, should make the cut at -15.. then disappointing -2 3rd and +3 4th.. finished at -14... crap

whatched a bit of your recorded stream. Sheesh man. I guess I always assume folks will look where they are going when driving to rolly fairways. Between this and the euro guys last week... staying on the fairway is NOT that hard. HA!

If anybody on PC wants some entertainment, watch my ghost ball on the third hole of round 1. Let's just say, I went from extremely excited, to absolutely pissed, to giddy in the span of 25 seconds!
On hole 3 on that awesome par 5 I killed a P/P drive and made the second fairway, then going for the green from 282 I get a slow downswing and put it OB, so hitting from that same 282 for the 4th shot I get a fast downswing, it goes left and hits the hill HARD, bounces dead right, onto the green, and rolls downhill to 3’ and I make par!
However, as a sign that the golf gods gave me a second chance, I shut the game off on the tee of 4 and I'll come back to round 1 at a later time. LOL

Hi Ray, don't know if this will help or not as I'm on PS4 and you're on XB but I've had similar tempo issues since the last patch; seemingly random F or S downswings (the backswings I have a handle on with the pause at the top - somewhat anyway). I've tried lots of different swings etc but in the end it seems to me that the downswing tempo is related to the speed of the stick pull back (not the pause at the top) versus the speed of the stick push forward (downswing). Too quick a pull back (versus froward swing) and I seem to get a S downswing, too slow on the pull back (versus the forward swing) and I get a F downswing. Still doesn't work for me all the time and some days getting the timing just never seems right, but I'm gradually getting there in the last couple of weeks. Then again I could be totally barking up the wrong tree. Even if it is right it could be different between platforms. In the end its all about the enjoyment and if you're not then it could be time to hang it up for a while. Good luck to you mate.

Another excellent reebdoog design; you can score well if you get it right but its very unforgiving if you're not in the right spots. Hit the ball well but no luck on the greens; rd 1 65 (-6) with 8 lip-outs rd 2 67 (-4) another 6 lip-outs, could have been very well placed at the cut if even half of them dropped but unfortunately only -10 and a missed cut for me. Onto next week. Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

Playing my first event all season.
Started off a bit slow but got hot on the back 9 of R1. Hot streak continued through the end of R2.
R1: -9 R2: -12
Then I hit a wall. Not sure if the pins are just tougher in R3 and R4 but I didn't make many quality shots and made a few mistakes.
R3: -2 R4: -4
Total: -27
