62-66-59-62 -35 total
Hopefully -14 makes the cut. I smell a promotion. Wind was insane for me round 2, I played all 4 rounds with frank70 turn based and didn't see wind like that for him all week. Very challenging course

Dog shyte.
First tournie after promotion and couldn’t get the ball close enough, followed by mediocre putting means a 1st missed cut of the year.
Great golf course which should have suited me - but didn’t....

Welp the bounces went my way. I had two shots that hit the wood barrier just after the water and bounced forward. One time onto the green on a par 4 and the other on the long par 5 which allowed me to go for the green in two. Couldn't get an eagle on either but those were the bounces I wasn't getting in round 1. Putted 34% from long range and put up a -13 to get me back into a top ten contention.

Bounces went the other way early in round 3. Had a bogey with a phantom break putt that was very odd. Couldn't get anything going on the front nine and struggled. Played really well on the back and finished with a respectable -9. Still in practice I shot -15 so it was there for the taking, just a few rolls that just missed the slope I was trying for happened. To be fair, those were my fault not the the fault of the course.

Missed a birdie by 6 inches on 2. Missed a 7 foot birdie on 4. Missed an 8 foot par on 5. Left a chip short on 6 then left the 15 foot birdie from the fringe 3 inches short. Missed a 15 foot birdie by 10 inches on 8. Ended up in the water on 9. Missed a 10 foot birdie on 10. Did birdie 11 through 14 to get to -6 for the round, but I wasted a lot of good shots.
Second round, lipped out a 21 foot birdie on 1. Lipped out a 7 foot birdie on 3. Missed a birdie chip by inches on 6 then had a birdie chip go right over the cup on 7. Put my tee shot on 8 right of the green, hit a 20 yard flop that landed about 3 yards past the edge of the green, and it ended up having 30 yards of rollout leaving me with a 76 foot putt, fortunately managed to get it close enough to bogey. Missed a birdie putt on 9 by 5 inches.
So I was -6, -12 overall going into the 17th. Hit the green in 3, not a great pitch, had a 16 foot birdie. Missed that 6 feet long. Missed the 6 foot par. Lipped out the 9 foot bogey. Ended up with double bogey.
Ultimately didn't even come close to making the 30 foot birdie on 18. Ended up at -10 through 2 rounds.
If I was a half decent putter I'd be in the top 5, but I putt badly enough to completely miss the cut.

I noted that it is possible to do -15. It seems the round easier. But at the time of the game everything changes. My first lap was abnormal, the second I lost 3 shots to several opponents, including you. I think I'll risk making my final laps only Saturday afternoon. For this round I'm hoping to match the Spikel score. But despite an electronic game, it's still golf. Everything can happen. Bounces went the other way early in round 3. In the third round, I will use as ghosts: Alexandre Segura / Martyn Clarke / Todd Wright So I will see the entrance on the green for birdie and eagle in every hole. Bad is that the replay is always wrong. Except when the player did only one lap there (not trained). A game error since 2014 ...

To be honesty I RARELY use ghosts in official rounds unless the course is exceptionally difficult, like in the promotion event. I will use them time to time if there are one or two holes where you are wondering if you can carry the water on a par 5. Of course I balance this out by sometimes playing my rounds early so others can follow me. In general I don't trust the ghosts and prefer in practice to take 'unplayable lies' and take four or five whacks at the green to see how best I can attack the pin or if it is even possible. Round 3 was easier than round one and about the same of round 2. I left many shots out there on both rounds. I think I can make a top 10 with a good showing in round 4 but a chance at the win I think I blew with my first round score.

Finished up my fourth round. Needed something stupid like a -17 to challenge for the win. It was obvious after the first hole that wasn't happening to my goal was a -8 to safely get inside the top 10. An early bogey put that in question and I needed to make a putt from off the green on 18 to make the mark. Top 10 and I'm happy.
Depending on Alexandres final round, if he makes -11 or -10 with a birdie on 18, he will win it looks like. If that happens we'll have an amazing 5 people going to the PGA next week, with a chance to get enough points to make it into the Masters. I think 170ish points is needed to get in which means a top 3 finish in next week's tournament should generate enough points to make it. Very difficult in your first tournament but anything's possible. Fourth place might be enough to squeak in depending on activity level but it will be close. Good luck all!

I do not think I can do this. At the end I start shaking (even though it's a videogame). Example was this turn 3 (the easiest). I started with boggie, I made many mistakes, but I recovered in the end. Luck. I'm thinking about what time I'm going to do the final round. I'm kind of tired and losing the hand of the PP. I know how nerves can be with hands shaking. Even if it is a game, they still exist. Looking at the people still left to play I'm SO glad I made that birdie on 18. I still think -35 will make a top 10 but there's going to be some scoreboard watching. GL!
