As it stands we have 32 players although I will still be accepting entrants. If we get more I'll be running qualifiers for the flights that are player heavy. I'm amazed by the amount of players that have signed up already and I'd like to thank you all for making it possible. It's also great to see a good mix of players from all flights, some familiar names and some new faces. My goal for these events are to bring more interest to player's rounds and to CC, and to bring together a bunch of players who wouldn't normally mix.
I just want to remind you all that the scores for the competition are being took from the Promotion Event in Week 25 to be held at Thistle Dell CC Promo. I'm just making sure that everyone is aware that it's not based on your tour rounds but the Promotion Event rounds. I'd like to ask you all if you could play your first round as early as you can, it'll mean that we're not waiting on the group stage to be finalized at the same time as semi finals are taking place. This is not a necessity but would help with the flow of the event.
Here's the breakdown of the numbers from each flight CC-A (8), CC-B (5), CC-C (5) CC-D (4), CC-E (4), CC-F (4) CC-G (3) and CC-Z (1). As we have 34 players and CC-A have 8 entrants they will participate in a qualifier and the 6 highest placed players in week 24's tour rounds will go through.
This may be extended to other flights if he have more players signed up by Saturday night.
Yep - play first round of promo event ASAP, cry, rant, throw controller at screen, realise that was not smart, buy new one, play remaining four rounds; got it?
Best wishes, Frans
PS Any requirements regarding clubs? Master or pro or both fine?
As its tied in with the Promotion Event use either club set as I'm not wanting to hamper anyone's chances of moving up. You normally play your rounds early Frans so you're alright. I'm just not wanting to be waiting till Friday for someone to start their rounds. Please don't throw your controller either because it may feel satisfying at the time it's costly in the long run.
P.S. I'll not be responsible for any meltdowns on the course other than my own.
