North American | Points | Total under par | Comments From the peanut gallery |
| Avery V | 28 | -164 | Continues to dominate | | Joe Gates | 26 | -118 | Falls to # 2, but still in control of his own destiny. | | Hunter B | 22 | -110 | Passes Bill for #3 with an 8 point week. | | Bill O | 17 | -105 | Miseries from old fart #1..trying a new set of clubs after throwing his old set in the drink. | | James R | 16 | -59 | Sub par week for JR | | Ashton F | 14 | -126 | Continues to play well with not much to show for it, has had tough draws. | | Kevin M | 7 | -26 | Closed the sub par week with a win over Bill | | Nate M | 3 | -55 | Closed the week with a shocker over red hot Leon A |
|
ROW | Points | Under par | More words of wisdom | Leon K | 32 | -148 | Hot as a pistol - taking control? This battle won't be decided anytime soon. | Leon A | 29 | -180 | Just as hot as LK, but stumbled in rd 4 | Frans M | 27 | -100 | Staying close with steady play | Simon M | 23 | -122 | Rocky, despite getting a 'goose egg' remains in contention | Digs B | 23 | -142 | Digs still in postion to make some noise. | Paul B | 20 | -101 | Sliding a little in this tough division, but still alive. | Pat O | 16 | -113 | Tough draw Pat, need to 'giddyup' to make a run. | Les S | 13 | -82 | Les can be a spoiler and nothing would make the old fart #2 happier. |

Dirtbag Weekly
Congrats to Ashton and Leon K as they share medalist honors for the week at -39. A few strokes behind was the consistent Avery at -37. Also a shout out to Leon A who also was a -30 club member at -32.
With 3 weeks to go in the NA division, I don't see Avery having a bad week. The battle here is Joe and Hunter for second with a prediction of Ashton making a late run. Bill, in fourth at moment, is not expected to threaten but can be a spoiler as can James, Kevin and Nate.
In the ROW division...it should be named the 'WOW' division. It has great play from top to bottom. The two Leons, K and A are taking control at #1 and #2 and are the hottest players in the league. Frans, Simon, Digs and Paul are just one solid week back to get into real contention. Pat needs a few things to break his way, but not impossible. Les is heard over in the corner saying something about he was going to shock the world.(even I don't know what that means)
I expect the Promo event to wreck havoc again on the league as it did the last time. Avery and Digs went up to the 'big league' but chose to remain a Dirtbag and that decision may be waiting for you as well.

Ideas and thoughts please.... I am hoping for a season 3 of the Dirtbags. Don't know who is or isn't interested at this point and it does not matter. I like the partner competition but would like to change it up some. It is our league to shape as we want.
Proposal #1: 4 man teams play a 2 time round robin schedule. 6 weeks. Season 2 top two finishers(4 captains) from each league choose the teams. They could be done in a message with each other as to not embarrass me when I am picked last. The scoring formats could be decided later.
Thoughts or alternatives? I am not asking for a commitment at this time.

I don't think I'll be in contention for anything this season, I'll be glad when it's done. Just not enjoying the game just now, too inconsistent and my tempo is all over the place.
First round in the bag this week shot -6.

Played a practice round on the CC course for this week. Felt like Scarlet Inn definitely played advantageous to Master club players. This week pro clubs will have an advantage. Accuracy on approach shots is going to play heavily.

I'm not overly bothered at the format, as I keep saying, I'm mostly in this for the friendly chat and extra focus for the tournys. Your idea sounds good.

Pretty sure I got demoted. I'm gonna play the amateur tour this week, the promo, and if I have time, I'll play the cc pro tour with you guys.
Edit: first round in cc am, I dropped to pro clubs and I shot -12 lol. Go figure.

Well after an absolutely terrible week. Actually last place in CC-B 149/149 I found my swing again.
-5,-7,-14,-8 for a total of -34. Hope that gets rid of my demotion marks.
I’m in for a season 3, whatever that entails.

Last 2 rounds finished and battled hard for a total of -35. Round 3 shot -6 but I had so many makeable putts burnt the edge of the cup. Round 4 shot -10. I managed only 1 bogey for the event on some pretty tough greens. billybudd0623Count me in for season 3.

Proposal #2? Come on guys...give me some ideas. We need a few ideas to be able to choose.
I thought the 'team idea' would be fun and create even bigger rivalries. I know some have much bigger imaginations that this old man.
No rush, just be thinking about it.

The roundups are perfect and much easier to follow. Also, I'm good with that for season 3 or really anything you guys decide on
