Opened up pretty well, for me, -22 at the turn. Had a few WTF moments but managed to scramble well and remain bogey free so far. One of those moments was a fairly straight putt on 17 in R2 which actually jumped. Not seen that before!!
-16/-17 to make the cut?
Best of luck everybody. A couple of decent scores on the boil already.

This going to be another -60 to -65 for the win? I'm sure most of the folks will get a woody over it. Yawn

It all started with a lipped out 6 foot birdie putt at the first. Missed another supposedly straight putt as it mysteriously turns to the right? Too many bad breaks to count. Managed to get up and down from the rough twice and even the fairway bunker once for clutch birdies. Stumbled in with what can only be considered a miraculous -12 despite the worst I've played in a while. Definitely not playing round 2 right now

Meh - 9/9/10/9 for -37
Far too many bogeys - mostly through terrible putting this week - much more reliable tempo for once.
Gotta just face facts - I'm shiiiiiiittttttt.

Couple of missed putts early in R1, which wobbled in completely unexpected directions compared to what the beads were indicating, had me second guessing every putt from then on. Had decent 2nd and 3rd rounds but otherwise played terribly and may have permanently ruined my putting stats for the rest of the season.
Best of luck etc.

R1: 68 (-4) R2: 63 (-9)
Only three bad holes over the two rounds. Triple on 3 in round 1 due to a really bad tempo swing (water, what a surprise), double on 17 (again....water). Those were the only two bad holes in R1.
In Round 2 i did better with my only bad hole being 14 where again i had a very slow downswing putting me plugged in the bunkers on the right and couldn't get up and down. I did manage to avenge my double on 17 in R1 with a birdie though.
Another missed cut for me and to he honest i have no idea what to do. This is as good as i will ever be and all i am doing is missing cuts. Oh well.
Good luck everyone!

-10,-11,-13,-10 for -44. Top 25 is Possible and that is what I shoot for these days. This course has always given me trouble so I am pleased with this score. Missed a half dozen putts less than 10ft though so that bugs me. Oh well, good luck!

I NEED TO PRACTICE MY PUTTING....... .................................... AGAIN. Would someone be kind enough to let me know what the speed of the greens are for round 1? Thanks in advance.๐

Yeah, it took me til the 5th or 6th hole to realize that this was TPC AT Sawgrass. "Everything's the same, only different." That was just messing with my head and I never really felt comfortable.
Round 2 started off -8 through 9, but then it all fell apart in the next 3 holes. -16 through 2 rounds, which I can't imagine will be close to the cut.

-9 -10 -9 -8 (-36) Last round started great, birdie, eagle, birdie and thought I was on for a good round...back 9 had other ideas, three putted from a short distance after a great approach, then proceeded to hit wrong club on par 5 and dunked it in the water... ๐. Dunno if -19 makes cut but enjoyed all rounds nonetheless. Good luck all.

Doing my part to keep the cut line up.
-27 for me and 2 off the pace. Played the fives like a douche in rd 2 and got up and down for birdie after hitting it in the water. A stroke here and a stroke there, keeps me out of the top.

Was pretty disappointed we played this version of Sawgrass. I get that it's difficult but the winning score will be -52 instead of -58 on the real Sawgrass? No point really.
It's a fine recreation but the greens are just really silly and not at all accurate toward the real Sawgrass. Ever since TGC1 I've never played a course where I get more squirters on the green than here. Just very unreliable beads and very weird sloping around the greens makes it fairly unenjoyable which is unfortunate because it's my second favorite course in the world.

Anyway, I just fought through the four rounds trying to salvage a good finish. My approaches were bleh as I struggled to manage the distance on bouncy ball wedges. Putted fairly well at times but never made enough big putts to stay in contention. Think I only made one eagle which won't get it done.
Believe I shot 60, 61, 61, 60 for -46. Maybe grab a top 10 if Iโm lucky.
