I think I won this tourney last year on the World Tour. I missed the cut this year. I think I can be removed (safely) as a POI I played with Beginner and Pro clubs last night, on different tours and societies, I found that more enjoyable.

-43 total, need a very long shower now to get the stench of mediocrity off me. Have to say I'm extremely surprised that I'm threatening a top 20 this week. This was a very straightforward course with hardly any notable danger spots, I had worse tempo than usual (including a bunch of slows and even a very slow which are extremely unusual for me) and made a bunch of stupid mistakes including with the putter. I felt legitimately angry with myself about only having one solid round on such a straightforward course, so I honestly expected to be mid-table and several top players to be in the -60s. Looking at scorecards a bunch of people birdied every single hole across the 4 days, and a lot more (including me) birdied all but 1. I realise different pins and winds obviously make a difference but there's a clear mix among scorecards over the 4 rounds among players, meaning every hole of very round was unequivocally birdieable, and yet the current top score of -51 suggests a lot of errors made. 90% of the time on PGA events I see the top 5 scores and think "welp, there's no way I could have got close to those guys, on this course and in these conditions" and yet this week I can easily imagine having done better than -51. Shows even the elites are human I suppose!

For me it's the "I can relate " and moral support 100%. Most times I read a post like that the guys scores are better than mine .Every week for me is just a grind to make the cut.Maybe 2 top 25 finishes in full field events to date. Same - If I can relate to it, good or bad, or if I find it funny (haha / ironically), I’ll like it. I liked the fact that Bob had a strange situation with the water influencing his overall score, and I also liked the fact that Brad was shite for different reasons. I didn’t like either post because I thought “ha!! Those pricks have @!$#ed it!” This ^^^. I have never ever 'liked' a post describing a tough experience (game-wise or personal) with any intention other than moral support or to show I relate, it's the only reaction we have after all, and it's surprising to me that the alternative could even be entertained. I definitely don't agree with the other post about 'top finishers' likely to be more spiteful in their 'likes', that thinking imo is just a result of the widespread mistrust on here and any other gaming environments about top players. As a general reminder about gaming psychology:

Looks like third for me after countback. Think we're still waiting for SweetTeeBag ?

Congrats on the win Bob. I will pull out as I don’t want to be accused of not playing fairly.

Pretty sure Dave meant Musk was the serial watcher wanker, as he plays late every week.
Regardless, as Bob says, people can take as long as they like.

I think Tim got paired with Paul Casey who is claiming it’s too dark to finish.

People can play whenever they like. But people who wait until Saturday night really get on my tits. Its not against the rules, but then neither is short swinging, and look how many people whinge about that.
