-10 to start. Very pleased as my FW's hit were in the 70% range. Had some difficult second shots, and ok putting. Thinking -18 will be the cut, so hoping for another -10 to feel comfortable. The conditions and course are there for the taking if you can hit more FW's then me

Two solid rounds were unfortunately sabotaged by one hole and two missed putts for birdie within 5 feet. All started with Hole #2. Played it long like I normally do and for whatever reason decided to hammer my putt off the green. Long story short took me 3 attempts to get back on the green and even then I had to make a 20 footer to save triple bogey. Rallied to remove that deficit over the next couple holes and played pretty solid golf to come in with a -8.
Immediately dove in to round two and was throwing darts on the front nine. Darts is great but you gotta make the short putts. Missed two 5 footers on the par fives that just hurt. Still managed a -11 for a total of -19. I think that will be within the cut as the back nine is JUST hard enough to bring the scores up a bit. I should have been -22 at least if not better, just some silliness.

Easy cut this week with - 20. Good 2nd round 59 where I admittedly got lucky a few times with my ball coming back from the rough into the fairway but overall just a solid round. Now see if I can keep it up for my first good result in euro!

Played 12 holes of my r2 last night and ended on a good note; hole in one on 12. I got pulled away by a couple buddies for an alt shot. I've left it at exactly this location and I'll probably finish up the round tonight. I'm -8 through 12 with the help of the ace. Link below. Sorry for the language and the million rehearsal backswings, I was distracted by the group chat I had just gotten pulled into, but decided I wanted to finish the hole so I didn't have to resume on a par 3. Worked out Combined with my -10 R1, barring anything crazy this should put me somewhere in the low -20's by the time I finish up r1. A few off the lead but a solid spot for even a decent r3 to keep me in the conversation for a top 10 & the elusive final promo mark going into the final round.

Off topic but why does it count as '0' putts when you use a putter from the fringe? It should look at which club you use not at the survace...

Not even close this week, -11 through 2. Probably missed a dozen, probably more, birdie putts from 8 to 16 feet or so. My putts per hole doesn't really reflect how bad my putting was since I had like 8 putts from the fringe (which don't count) and I actually made several of those, just couldn't make putts when I was actually on the green proper.

-16 Under for the first two rounds and it wont be good enough. Had a healthy -11 first round and a thoroughly disappointing 2nd round at -5 (birdied the last 4 holes to even have a chance). Slow tempo with irons really held me back 2nd round. Couldn't put it close if my dog's life depended on it! Better luck next week hopefully.

-20 for my opening two salvo's - safely inside the cut but quite a distance to travel for the top 10 spots.
Nice enough course. But would like some faster greens soon... been a lot of slow-mid speeds on our Tour recently. Need to get putting touch on faster greens for potential masters spot - looks like my WGR is degrading at just slow enough rate for me to be able to squeeze in this year.

And a strong-ish finish of -13 & -12, to total -45. Hopeful that may just squeeze in to get a 4th promotional kiss.
Another enjoyable tourney - good luck to those with rounds to play. Except those that have got a chance to knock me out of the top10 spots, obviously - daggers and a pox on their houses!

Round 3 in the books. Finished with a -13 which easily could have been 2 strokes better or worse. I missed a 6 foot putt for birdie but played a horrible shot on a par 5 and was left with a 34 curler for birdie that found the cup. So I traded some really good birdie putts that weren't high percentage putts with a couple of really stupid mental errors, including putting from the fringe from 6 yrds out and putting it 30 feet away. Managed to make the par putt coming back. :/ Think I'm going to need a -14 or so to squeeze into the top ten, basically shooting better than I already have.
I have a feeling I'm going to come up one or two shots short and that silly 7 on hole #2 in round one is going to come back and haunt me.

Good before the cut, terrible after. Better that than the other way around i guess but not a week to look back at...

Finished round 4. Figured I needed a -12 to safely be in the top 10 and only managed a -11 which puts me in a tie for 9th.
One golfer needs to shoot a -9 or better to push the group at 9th to 10th and one other golfer needs -23 over the last two rounds. I suspect the former will happen but the latter I think may not come to pass. Either way it is going to be close for a top 10 this week.
