Thanks! My first ever win in the DAM society, and to do it in a Major felt pretty good. I made bogey on the final hole too! LOL

The nerves must have been getting you ala Jean Van der veld (?) in the far less important Open Championship

Green keeper must have completed his 10’000 early today, because he didn’t take many steps onto the green to place those rd2 flags.
Not scored low enough to stay in contention today, 2 bogies and 3 missed opportunities, that’s the difference between in with a chance and in the pack.

Didn't think I would get to play this week but found some time this morning and got an HIO on the 7th in round 2 which helped me get to -15 for this week....a really enjoyable course.

Wanted to pop on this week at some point to say how much I liked Red Rose. Cool scenery and some difficult pin placements led to an interesting couple rounds.
Think I finished halfway decent after a strong second round.
Clinging to the top ten right now after a very poor showing in the second major knocked me down a few spots

DAMnation of St. Cyrus might be the most fun "adventure golf" I've played to date, just...awesome - which makes sense given how much I liked the original course, too. Great stuff!

Just played my rounds, and i guess i never noticed that people on other platforms have different winds? i watched mayday play his the last night and he had different winds both rounds. kind of interesting since we are supposed to be competing cross platform. also they have different pins, had a few hole where my pins were way off from his. the most noticeable one was the par 3 11. he had a 170ish yard shot in round 2, and mine was 225 on a completely different green. definitely had fun, just a few things i noticed as far as "competition" between platforms, but not sure we are supposed to compete here so who knows if it even matters...

The platforms are all programmed the same on our end, so not sure how that’s happening.
The pins thing doesn’t even make sense. The course file is saved on HB’s servers, so if we choose pin 1, or pin 2, those locations should be the same on every platform.
Everyone is competing, there’s no issue with trying to do your best. The goal is to have fun with it. No need to throw the passive-aggressive comments in there.

maydays pins were still pin set 1 in round 2. on xbox i had completely different pins for round 2. i went back and double checked, he had the same pin on the 11th as round 1, in between the swales. my pin for round 2 was 225 yards on a completely different green.
he also had different winds both rounds, even when the wind was set to default.

Hmm, interesting. We have a setup sheet so that all consoles get the same setups, so perhaps there was a save issue. Our intention is for them always to be identical.
Same with winds... we actually never use default, because that leads to random winds. When we program the societies, we set speed and direction of the wind in each round.
Only thing I can figure is that there was a saving error on PS4. If that’s the case, I definitely apologize.

If it helps, I play PS4 and pins were the same both rounds but wind was different
