I always enjoy the various challenges of the DAM rounds each week. I had a practice round last Sunday and was left scratching my head about some of the holes especially the one from the porch of the tool shed. Without much optimism I set off on my two rounds, I didn't even bother playing a shot before the first tee. One hop a short roll and in for the ace. Don't remember a lot about the rest of the round but birdies a-plenty and one off the pace for PS4. I set off for round 2 and scored another ace on one of the first couple of holes. More birdies and an eagle meant that even a visit to one of the lakes and a bogey didn't stop me leading for now. I don't think I've had two HiO in any tournament before.
Thanks again for laying on the best fun every week.

Of course! It's an open society, so people can join all year long. Pretty much the only downside to joining late is not being able to play in the DAM Championship unless you have 10 events or more for the season, but as of right now there are still 13 left before that, so you're in good shape.

Sweet!! so just join the in game society and it pulls the scores from there?

I pull the scores manually, we don't have API for our website. But yes, just join the in-game society on the platform you plan to play the season on, and I'll add you to the standings after your first week in the society. :-)

I missed back to back hole in ones in the second round, by a combined 7 inches. missed 3 putts by a combined 5 inches, including one sidewinder on the 17th that stopped 2 inches from the hole. i always hate that feeling of knowing i could be in the lead when i am done with both rounds. i had my shots dialed in this one too, those back to back aces hurt the most as thats a 2 stroke swing instead of just 2 birds. the only holes i had problems with were the 9th and the 18th. both rounds the 9th seemed almost impossible with any combinations of club, shot, and loft. the 18th in round one was the same, no matter the shot or loft, it always hit in one spot and shot across the green. the 18th in round 2 was easy though, just a full loft 59 yard pitch and had a 2 footer for the birdie. finished -19, should have been -25 or better. these pitch and putts seems to be my strongest events. and i need as many points as possible before Walton tears me a new one lol.

The Dirty Ankle Mafia society website has been updated to reflect the results of week 8 action from Kong Island DAMaged. Week 9 is underway at the DAM Loops Pitch & Putt.

i didnt, (and thats not because i shot bad, that happens every event, so this is not that) but im sick and tired of these holes where (for example) the 18th wehre its bascially impossible to land your shot on the green without it rolling of in the fairway, thats several holes

Shane, if you’re sick and tired of stuff in this society, please don’t feel obligated to keep playing. Sorry you’re not enjoying yourself.

Is that the squirrel that ate my ball on 18 green?

Is that the squirrel that ate my ball on 18 green? I'll say this, if the squirrel comes close to eating your ball, I bet the ball stayed on the right level. Are some of the holes ridiculous? Of course. I'll be the first to admit that. Terry had two "code browns", there is a shout out of eric's critique of my flags not being rotated on the original practice green, Reeb the moose is officiating an intense tennis match of the DAM, and yes a few holes have basically one correct choice to keep the ball in the right spot. I love DAM events because I never take them too seriously. Sorry to disappoint those that do. I was just looking to make the holes fun and a good challenge of your short game. But, I hope you all enjoy. If not, give the full course a spin. I bet you won't end up in such bad positions with full shots as I put you in off the tee here a few times. Edit: I read this back. I just want to add I don’t mind the critiques at all I promise. We need more of it at times. Really just wanted to drop the hint about the squirrel and got carried away. Edit to the edit: just played my rounds. What moron built this. Published it so long ago I forgot half the proper lines and I forgot how many pins I put on hills. I’m clearly a jerk who hates fun.
