Day 1 Total Stroke Match 3Zach Eads & Tim Brantford V Cullen Allen & Michael Dean CC-A raced into a two hole lead courtesy of an Eads birdie on the 1st and a Brantford birdie on the 2nd. The 3rd was halved then CC-B pulled one back on the 4th but a pair of birdies on the 5th put CC-A 2 up. Another pair of birdies on the 6th extended their lead to 3 and CC-A won the 7th to go further ahead. With the 8th and 9th halved CC-A went into the back 9 4 up. Allen and Dean both matched their opponents score to half the 10th and 11th, but couldn't match the Eads birdie and Brantford par on the 12th. With the 13th halved the last 5 holes were must wins for CC-B but Allen and Dean couldn't better CC-A's score on the 14th. The match was won by a Eads birdie on the 14th and gave CC-A another point on the opening day. CC-A wins 6&4

Day 2 Fourballs Match 1Simon Morris & Travis Sailer V Kevin Everard & Dave Richards The two teams went through the first hole even then traded holes as Richards won the 2nd and Morris won the 3rd. Nothing separated them on the 4th but a Richards birdie on the 5th put CC-B 1 up and CC-A couldn't claw them back through 8. It took an Everard eagle on the 9th as both Morris and Sailer had shot birdies to win the hole and put CC-B 2 up. The lead was quickly restored to 1 as Sailer and Morris hit birdies again on the 10th, but an eagle from Richards this time clinched the 11th hole. A Morris birdie won the 12th for CC-A before Everard birdied the 13th to maintain a 2 hole lead. There was no change through the 15th and a birdie from Everard put the match to an end on the 16th. CC-B wins 3&2

A couple of good CC-B wins... at least this isn't going to be a blow out! Not sure what the overall score is but it might be even to date?

Day 2 Fourballs Match 2
Zach Eads & Tim Brantford V Greg Fordyce & David Andrews
CC-B wins 1UP As the only Canadian I feel I've let my country down, now add to that losing to the losing losers in CCB loser tier I'm ashamed to be alive. I better go yell at the old lady again. ***disclaimer...just that customary trash talk we are supposed to take part in...re "losers"...take no offense...or take all the offense...***
