Avery, the money list is not important for comparison anymore, I think. Don't worry about it.

Well, my swing is completely off right now. "slow's" galore. Going to hang up the cleats for the night. Shot -9 first round and -9 the second round but felt like I should have shot higher. Definitely can't play my PGA rounds right now that is for sure. But as far as Aristida Dunes Club is concerned, I am not a huge fan of the layout. Glad it didn't host the Ryder Cup event.

I started eagle, birdie and birdie on the first 3 holes to card a score of -9. Missed several putts for birdie that skimmed the edge. A bogey at 14 was my only blemish. Also, I had a few VF tempo swings that came out of nowhere. nate94gt Bring it on! Since we are scattered accross the universe now. I would appreciate it, if you would post your scores here when you finish. Thanks.

Nobody has ever asked me where I came up with 'Dirtbags'. I am sure a few of you wondered 'why dirtbags'? A few years ago I followed a baseball team ( Long Beach St 49ers ). The baseball team chose to 'unofficially' change their nickame to Dirtbags because of their style of play. They played with determination against biggers schools and have a good history of hard, fiesty and gritty play. They wear that nickname with pride. Evan Longoria of the Tampa Bay Rays and Troy Tulowitski of the Colorado Rockies /Blue Jays were Dirtbags. It just stuck with me. It may be a little corny but that's the story.

2nd round finally complete and shot 8 under. No highlights but just good steady play but could of been better if some putts had dropped.

I was wondering where the name came from but never got around to asking. It seems to suit our little rivalry group.

Don't know why I never thought about it Bill... always did like the name though. I think it describes our group very well. That is interesting that Evan Longoria was a Dirtbag. I used to go down to Tampa Bay and watch him play, was one of my favorites from that era of baseball.

Don't know why I can't post from Twitter on my phone. Will edit when I get home.

Loftyando Leon, I have read many people are crapping the last two rounds. I still have only played the first round. Good luck in the 4th round. You only have to shoot -11 in the 4th round to tie Digs...easy peasy!
