Eric, if you need to step back from the contest for a while, I can take over and guarantee completely fair judging...on the other half of the bracket from me anyways... Seriously though, my best wishes are being sent to you and your little guy.

Thoughts, Energy, and Prayer being sent to the whole Nesbit family for healing and positivity. It’s amazing friends that we can bicker about minute stuff about a online golf game, or politics, or scores. But when it really matters we pull together for another community member. That my friends is called FAMILY. You got this Caleb. We are ALL behind you. ☮️ And ❤️ To all.

PACU... I'm guessing it's paediatric care unit... but what's the a stand for?
When my daughter was born, she had a lump on her neck. I immediately noticed and indeed was the first person that did and it was worrying. This led to our trips to Alder Hey Children's Hospital where thankfully it was found that all it was was extra cartlidge and nothing to worry about and most of it was removed.
What I am saying in a roundabout way is I have an idea what Eric and his wife/partner are going through and I know it will be difficult. I'm not offering prayers because I'm not religious and doing so would be hypocritical of me, but I will offer my best wishes and hope that Caleb makes a full recovery, even if that takes a while.
Edit (added): I remember standing by my daughter's side when she was given anesthetic before surgery. Seeing her smiling at me, holding my hand then changing to a look of despair and crying as she didn't know what was going on before she closed her eyes... it was one of, if not the hardest things I've ever had to do or see. Later that afternoon and only three hours after her surgery she had a massive grin on her face and was sitting up by herself for the first time in her life.

Thanks man! PACU is post-anesthesia care unit. It’s an area dedicated to the needs patients have as they’re coming off of anesthesia after surgery before they go to their recovery room. Thanks for the positive thoughts!

He’s been able to get some rest the last 24 hours due to the concoction of meds he’s on. The kidney is still functioning well, it’s just the secondary battles we’re fighting right now with his recovery that are making this exhausting. We’re hoping that he doesn’t end up with pneumonia because he hasn’t been able to be up and moving around due to the pain and now because of the additional surgery. It would be nice to see lasting improvement in his pain and comfort very soon! It’s one hour, one day at a time right now. Thanks for the support!
