Started off OK, -7 through 6, then I missed a birdie putt on 8 by inches, a birdie putt on 9 by inches, a par putt on 10 by inches, and a birdie putt on 11 by inches. Two bad shots on 12 then I sank a chip for birdie. Missed a 7 foot birdie on 13. Tried to cut the corner on my drive on 15 and hit a hill at just the right angle for it to pop straight up and stay on top of that hill. Missed an easy 12 foot birdie put on 18. 61 for the first round isn't bad, tied for first on PC out of 69 people so far, but I feel like I'll have to do a little better than that going forward to make PGA.
Second round I missed birdie putts by inches on 3 of the first 5 holes then lipped out a 13 foot birdie on 6. 7th hole I was in the rough on my first two shots then put a flop off the side of a hill in the heavy rough to 1 foot. 9th hole I pulled my approach shot left, hit about 10 yards left of the pin off the green, kicked right, rolled along the side of the hill, came down the hill and rolled into the hole for an eagle. Went straight in the bunker on a fast downswing on my drive on 10 but had a nice shot out of the bunker and birdied. Missed 15 foot and 9 foot birdies on 11 and 12. Tried to cut the corner on 15 again, failed again, but managed to put a 4 iron to a foot. Burned the edge on a birdie putt on 16. Managed to birdie 17 after botching the chip pretty badly, then 18 as well, to shoot a 60.
Still on top of the PC leaderboard but I feel like I definitely left more shots out there than I'd like, though I got lucky a couple times too. Gonna stop for the night, hopefully I can finish strong.

Played my first two rounds yesterday and even though the final scores are the same for both rounds (-6), I'm not equally satisfied. In the first round, my approach game was as good as it gets for me, but I couldn't cash in from short range on three occasions. Hence, that first round felt like a bit like a missed opportunity.
In contrast, my swing was not consistent anymore in the second round. Therefore I couldn't profit from the low winds, and I had to fight every hole to get a decent lie on the green. My bad play peaked on the 16th with a double bogey. Fortunately, I saved myself with a very elegant 30 foot eagle putt through a difficult side slope on the par 5 right afterwards. The resulting -6 felt way better than that of the first round.
So, I'm standing at -12 after two, which I found ok until I read about @spartan4knight 's performance a few minutes ago. Since, for rivalry reasons, I need to stay as close to him as possible, I have to improve quite a bit in the remaining two rounds. Difficult task on this challenging course.

question for this, and all tourneys- how do you know beforehand (for practice reasons) which tees will be used?

The reason i asked was because i assumed it would always be back tees, and then today's cc-pro is from 2nd back! After i'd just practiced back! Still made a decent round, just wanted to know; thanks for the response

started off with some lucky bounces and great putts to be something like -5 after 6 holes. Then went on a par fest for a long period, followed by a bogie around hole 13. Got a birdie back straight away on the next hole, par 3. Then finished with eagle and a putt in from off the green for birdie on 17 and 18! -8 overall... I'm doing Q school and this as my first two tournaments, this was only my second ever round in the society; nice start

The CC-pro tours will play a forward tee if the back tees are over 7200-7300. From what I've seen (CC-C), we play courses that are around 7200 yards long from whatever tee we use.
As for this event, I played two practice rounds today with master clubs and shot 65 and 63. I figure I'll need 4 63s to get promoted at all. The plan is to stick with master clubs come hell or high water.

Well I was hoping to promote out of CC-B in this event and land on Web. Not sure what it will take but I have a feeling I will fall just short. Round 1: -7 Round 2: -12 Round 3: -3 Round 4: - 9 Total: -31 Let’s see where that gets me by the end of the week! that'll do it easily - might even sneak into Euro

-9, -9 then the game went to sh|t. I started getting constant f/f, laggy fps- I recognized it early but didn't have the self control to put the controller down and come back later. +4 and a rage quit. It was a quick reminder why I dont play a lot of tournaments... so frustrating.

DP Oh Man- so awesome! As soon as there's more stability in the region, I'd love to go back and visit with the new wife. I tell anyone that will listen that Antalya , Turkey is the most underrated tourist spot in the world.

I started off with a -3 first round, so I wasn't expecting much from the tournament. But with a -9 2nd round and -7 3rd round I could get at the most a jump up to CC-B hopefully.

Really happy with my play here. I drained more 20+ feet putt than I can count. I'd be in the bushes thinking, crap I gotta save par. And boom my chip goes in! -35. I hope this is good enough for Web.com. I can't see many players shooting low enough each round, too many crazy variables I lucked out on. I was ecstatic with my first round and didn't expect to be able to continue with that kind of scoring. I remember being +1 thru 5 and the ghost I was playing being -5 thru 5. We ended the round tied at -10. That was a blast, and the course is brutal at times!
Avoid bogeys and your birdies add up quick. Funny thing is I'm pretty sure I only scored a few birds on the par 5s over all 4 rds even though most of them were reachable and I was in the fairway.
Was on the Euro Tour last year and have been stuck at CC-D this season
61-64-62-62 = -35
