Started off round 1 with a 3 putt bogey, and never really got in a great groove. Round 2 was actually going great until I 4 putted 12. Round 3 started off great, -7 after 6, but only ended at -11.
-27 after 3, not going to win, but my swing sure feels better. We'll see how round 4 shakes out. The winds sure make it interesting.

Finished up after making the cut by two strokes. Nice round 3 in those high winds. A single bogey countered with my only eagle of the tournament for a -9. I missed so many eagle putts by a click or two. Round four I putted better than I have in any tournament since my one win a couple months ago. I was almost 50% for putts over 10 feet and 100% for those under. I did have one bogey when a flop out of a bunker left me a very difficult putt but other than that my -14 without an eagle was a thing of beauty.
In the end I think my poor performance in the second round followed by the fact I could only manage one eagle the entire tournament, will keep me out of the top ten.
Ah well on to the special event this next week.

-12 and -11 for my rounds 3 and 4, to finish up -43. Will be a few shots shy of the top spot, but it’s always nice to go into the back 9 with an outside chance.
Great event this week - iconic course, in tough but realistic conditions. 👍
Good luck to those with round to come.
