Thanks again for keeping up with this Rob, it's a fantastic leaderboard to be aware of. No problem! It's a bit time consuming, but as long as people enjoy it it makes it worth it to update as much as possible. Now, you can slow down your charge up the rankings as you're breathing down my neck!

Great shooting this week killahbeaz132 ! So close to a rare XB1 player top 10 finish! I played steady apart from round 3 where I had an absolutely nightmare for tempo, hitting only one PP shot in the whole round. -1 in that round absolutely killed me. Well played everyone! On to next week! 👌👍🏌🏌 I blew it!! Hahah I could have easily broken top 10 but I kinda fell apart in the final round which wasn't even the toughest conditions. But that T11 got me some much needed FedEx points. I'm trying to get to the WGC event in 2 weeks. I'm sitting at 54th right now and need to be in the top 50 for that. So hopefully I'll work on that. This week will be tough for me. Tournaments where you need to go super low are typically not great for me. I usually thrive more in the tougher conditions for whatever crazy reason. nick80 welcome to the darkside I saw your score in the XB1 tour as well and you're very solid. Keep it up man and let's keep battling on the PGA tour guys to make some noise! Good luck guys! You'll break the top 50 if you keep going as you are, you're playing really consistently at the moment. Keep it up. I did notice you crept to 49th a few weeks back. I just wish I'd been in the PGA from the start because I may have had a slight chance for the top 50 too (slight!).

Definitely gives the XB1 guys a sense of community and a place where we can see where we all stand. Thanks!

xEB50x I’m not on the list because I’m only a CC-A player and likely going to drop down a level by the end of the week but I like to see how far up the WGR the good Xbox players can get and wondering how they do it. Any tips would be appreciated is it good putting, good iron play or good course management, I don’t seem to be able to play a round without at least one birdie sometimes I leave myself short sided.

I improved my game so much playing XB1 tour Society against your ghosts (killah, AP3, Throw, AussieDuke, Benny & ZeroXXX) I never played with very high wind & without wind indicator before the peeble beach tournament.
Today i practiced 4 rounds in a row on the Deere Run Course with 1st round conditions. I Struggled to make -8 & -9 on XB1 (too much perfect fast & lags) I made -16 & -14 on PC (95% p/p give me so much easy birds) No question, with fair conditions you could all reach the Top 30

Any tips would be appreciated is it good putting, good iron play or good course management, I don’t seem to be able to play a round without at least one birdie sometimes I leave myself short sided. Well, I'm 203 WGR and 22 XBOX, so not the best to answer, but A few tips or thoughts would be:
1. Figure out what side of the blue line you seem to make ur mistakes. For me it's the right side. So after I get my distance, loft and wind adjusted to have a yardage I will add a couple more clicks to the left. This is even more important when putting. Again my line will error just outside of the blue line on the right. So, I adjust my arrow a bit to the left once I've lined up my putt. It's not much, but an example would be a straight putt from 20 ft. I aim just inside of the left side of the cup, so it it goes straight it will slide in, and if I push the putt it will still drop on the other side of the cup.
2. What is your tendency that round? Are you avg. more fast d/s then normal. If so set up all the above data and then adjust for a fast. I do this by moving about for clicks to the right and about 5yds shorter then if I was hitting perfect. If you hit fast it will be perfect yardage, and if you hit perfect, you will just end up a bit short of the pin. Of course, if you need to get over a slop in the green, you just have to bite the bullet and hit a bit deeper to make sure you clear it. Hope you don't hit a slow
3. Very important to know the firmness of the green, and green speed. This will need to be known to set up ur shot. You need to know what kind of roll out you will get.
4. Advanced knowledge would be lofts and half quarter swings in some situations. These come from reps, and reps. Some use charts. I don't, I like to play the game by feel.
That's a quick run down that works for me. Others will have different technics I'm sure. If I had to say the most important factor for xbox players I'd say harnessing tempo, not getting upset with the odd VF VS, and master putting!!! Putting is the great equalizer for xbox users. I'm sure I left out a lot, just wanted to finish post before I leave work. Good luck!

A 13 stroke difference between PC and Xbox for the 2 rounds combined, that's mad! I've played it on the PS4 and know 1st hand how much easier the tempo is. There'd be a heck of a lot more Xbox players in the top 100 if the game played the same on all platforms.

I play more by feel for putting and allowing for the wind I don’t use the click method. It’s a good tip about aiming a little short to compensate for the fast downswing and I’ve never been great at working out the rollout on greens in all three games. I am playing a little better with the master club set off the tee and I think I attack the pin to much maybe I should back off a little on certain shots and play for the safe side of the green. Better course management required.

I still rush my game and don’t analyze where to land on the green more then I like, but to really score, u must take the time to find where you want to land and how far it will role out. The pga guys know all of this and put it into play. They don’t just grip it and rip it. It takes a lot of patience to play as deliberate as them. I just don’t have the desire to play that way. I’m much like you, I fire at sticks without even looking at the green way to often...lol. Glad ur improving, and have fun!

lessangsterEveryone plays the game totally differently but xEB50x has mentioned some key points for you to think about. killahbeaz132 is head and shoulders above the rest of us so he'd be a good one for some more tips. For playing with master clubs I personally just recommend really honing in your short game. Everything under 80 yards, pitching, flopping, chipping but especially putting! Putting is what gets us Xbox players our low scores because we have a hell of a lot of 20-30 footers. Really practice judging your pace and line on various green speeds and with different levels of elevation. The more you play the better you'll get! On the Xbox it doesn't matter how good you are, you'll still have tempo issues most rounds even if you're lucky enough for it to be just a couple of holes. Obviously try and get your tempo better if you can but just know that VF into a water hazard can come at anytime! 😂 Do you know roughly what your main type of swing is? PP, PF, PS etc. So if you know you hit mainly PP and PF then just play percentage shots by adjusting your aim accordingly so you know that you'll still be on the green. This comes down to course management when it's safe to go for a pin, and when not to. Par is always better than a bogey. We all leave a couple of shots out there most rounds unfortunately just try not to let it bother you too much. If you can put the last hole behind you helps too. Good or bad. Finally, never play a rage shot where you don't think about the shot. It will cost you 2 more! Hopefully some of the other guys could be more specific with their methods for you, as like I said at the start everyone plays slightly different.

All these tips are good !
Be carrefull about the stance et the Loft. A bad stance it's a 4 or 5 yards wild stroke (& more) even with a perfect/perfect green shot. Green stance to the left it's 1,2 or 3 clics to the right. yellow 4,5,6,7 clics red 8 & more
And if you hit a shot with red uphill on your feet, a sandwedge shot become nearly a Lowedge shot. (Shorter and less rolling). So you could loose 10 yards with the same club. It could be worst with a downhill loft (more speed & less higher)
For tempo issues, like pro golfers, go to te practice and hit maybe 50 or 60 shots in a row before a round (simulate). Don't stop before hitting 5 or 6 perfect/perfect in a row. The muscle memory will do the job.
Last advices: Hitting fairways is the first key to succes. A 200 yards shot from the fairway will be always better than a 160 yards shot from the rought. Play safely on the green and let you uphill putts or chips most of the time.

I’m actually pretty good at the long putts as I very rarely three putt my lag putting is good I just don’t drop as many as the top guys. My nemesis are the ones from under ten feet left to right borrow I would probably say I miss at least two a round on the low side of the hole. As you said pace is important and I think that’s where I get it wrong quite a few times a putt finishes directly online but short or directly behind the hole in a round for me. I don’t speed golf through but do play quite fast I can maybe finish a tournament round in 20 minutes or less I’m not sure how long it takes killer bees on his rounds it would be interesting to find out. Does he have any videos I can watch.
