Fantastic use of elevation and options on virtually every shot on this course; been a 5* fav for me since in came out in TGC2, although it has plenty of bite if you're just off with your shot. Rd 1 and the battle of consistency with my swing continues; couldn't get a lot to drop on the greens and coupled with a few dumb shot selections getting me bogies ended up 67 (-5), need to improve in second rd to make the cut. Straight onto rd 2 and my swing wasn't much better but the Reverend looked after me in this rd, plenty of good bounces and roll-outs; 14 birdies, no bogies for 58 (-14). Cut made (keeping my 50% record this season going) so two more rounds at this great track. Good luck to those yet to play / finish; may the tempo gods smile on you. PS: Is it just me or does it sound weird that Doyley is talking about getting a nice green Doyley Kiss.

Relatively happy with my - 9 2nd round but not the round I needed to join the top. I think - 19 will put me around 20th after 2 so enough work to be done to chase a promotion mark!

Tim and I making it rain aces! Boom #1 -- Boom #2 - pretty fun round 4 for us! My scores got better as the event went on culminating in my best TGC2019 round ever - felt like the old days back in TGC1 after walking off with a 57 in R4. Hopefully secured that elusive promotion mark - those things aren't easy to get and keep! API check for Doyley and Tim please

Well,
Started off pretty well with a -10. Downhill from there.
R1: -10 R2: -4 R3: -4 R4: -4
Total -22 and -14 at the cut line. Should be safe but very disappointing.

Goddamn... -6 through 9, still - 6 at the end. Disappointed. Real chance to climb up the board here and I wasted it. Tough conditions in r3.

Finished up my last two rounds.
In Rd 3 there is a good opportunity to plunder the course with soft fairways / greens although the High winds offer some difficulty. Unfortunately I just couldn't get any consistency with my swing and a couple of stupid shot selections really cost me; finished up 65 (-7) which won't see me climbing the leaderboard.
Rd 4 back to Firm and I played a little better to have 63 (-9) and finish up at -35; not enough for a green Doyley kiss but should get me some Web bucks.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish; may the tempo gods smile on you.

2nd missed cut in a row for me. Tempo issues killed me in the 1st round. Secondarily, the lack of flat lies on the course made it hard for me to dial it in. Oh well, something to work on.

Good first 2 rounds, poor last 2. That can only mean one thing... Middle of the pack. Better luck next week. Feels like my swing is good enough to do better so let's go

I think those two missed cuts served me well. I needed those days off to rest up. Haha. Yeah, that's the story I'm telling. Started -11, -10, and -11. Just need one more solid round to finish strong. Who knows though!
