I am in the process of making my first course. I just finished a par five that has, after the tee box, about 80 yards of land followed by about 90 yards of water. When I play test the hole the club selection it gives me is by default a 9 iron pitch. Why does it do this? I would like the default club to be a driver.
I have tried moving the fairway waypoint around. I also tried tweaking the tee boxes a bit. Is there trick to adjust this?

Make sure the waypoint is on the fairway. Usually the game defaults to the nearest safe (in the FW) place to the waypoint.

I have a couple holes where the fairway starts at about 150-175 yards from the tee box. The fairway waypoint is in the dead center of the fairway, where Ih want the player’s first shot to be.
One hole is over water to the fairway. Water starts at about 70 yards. Fairway starts at about 160 yards. The waypoint is dead center fairway, about 290 yards out. I’ve tried moving the tee box around, moving the waypoint around. Nothing works. The club option it gives me is a Sand Wedge Pitch shot. Which doesn’t even reach the water.
The next hole is an uphill par 5. It’s about 200 yards to the start of the fairway. The fairway makes a dog leg left at about 325 yards. The waypoint is set to the middle of the fairway. However the club selection off the tee is a 4 iron.
I cannot figure out for the life of me why this is happening.

They are made from greens brushes.

They are made from greens brushes. take the Red sclultping tool and place it completely over the tee and drop it 20 feet. Dont Worry the red brush won’t move the top surface. Then replace the tees onto the green surface again.

I ended up dropping all the tee boxes below water level. Raising them up again. Moving the tees all over. Essentially did about six or seven wacky things to the tee area. Then returned it all to normal and it is working now.
Thanks for the replies folks!
