Also Larry , you talk about hitting a specific spot on the green to let the course do the work . That’s exactly what every player wants to do , but can’t , because of the inaccuracies in the swing . So if someone is hitting every spot on every green , then that causes ears to prick up . I hope that makes sense without upsetting anyone . . That's just not true (excluding tempo of course, as I said before that's so penal that it's a legitimate scorecard ruiner) I see it over and over again watching players' streams even those with solid swing lines. Don't take it the wrong way, because I was the same when I was in CC Pro last year, I thought I was picking the right spots and just getting unlucky or not nailing the shot, before I put in the study time and realised I was making relentless judgement errors. So many variables in this game are not intuitive and you need to study them. I would say, no exaggeration, 90% of players do not get close to correctly factoring in green firmness, speed and slopes or calculate loft and wind correctly, in fact most of the time they don't even stop to think about it and they're susprised when they're way off ("the wind did nothing!" or "what kind of bounce was that!?"). And the vast majority have no real system to putting, they just guess. While I don't have the time now to put this into practice with a tutee, I'm 100% certain that with maybe 20 hours' of lessons comprising systematic study, drills and number crunching, I could turn any CC Pro player into a PGA standard player (i.e. making the cut on a PGA society event) regardless of how well they swing.

I also notice that there is a huge difference in the scale of the two graphs that you posted . And also , does the graph represent final scores ? Like a player could hit every green to within 8 feet of the pin and miss every putt and still have a rubbish round . That graph is purely tee to green (not flops and chips) shots, says nothing about scores, only how straight they swung and how many times they swung in a particular zone.

I reckon the other 4 shots were chips or flops as opposed to wild shots mate. They don’t feature on the chart to my knowledge. I meant the far right purple line which had a frequency of 4 - Jeff said those are anything at point x and beyond, so just because there's a high frequency in that spot it doesn't mean they hit that exact point 4 times. Yes I know mate but there are four unaccounted for shots if you count the total on the chart plus Mitch’s putts for the round that leaves four I assumed that’s what you meant

I am not saying 21 under is impossible . What I am asking is , how can a guy who is not shooting 21 under, be removed? I don’t think a graph with a big column in the middle proves anything , unless that graph is a 21 under pay graph also

We have all been playing golf games for a long time . Hori was the only way to compete on ps3 , there is no evidence in a graph to confirm that a player is shooting 15 under or 21 under . It just does not make sense with what the graph is calculating . The numbers do not add up . And the only important shot on this game is the approach , so just one shot per hole . That’s all you need

We can all calculate wind and elevation ,and green speed but can we all get that ball to within 10 feet on every approach shot ? Some can , some can’t . If someone gets removed , I think it’s important that we all see why , just like it was important to see how to shoot 21 under . At the end of the day , it’s a game , and games are competitive , and competition keeps people alive , so if you take away someone’s competitive spirit, let’s see why

But don’t bore us all with rubbish about miscalculation on wind and green speed . Save that garbage talk for the CCZ players The majority of miscalculation is all related to the swing path , and nothing else

1) Learn to use the 'Edit' button
2) The only ways to get lines like the 'thin' graph (which got pulled by the API) are to a) use a Hori (or similar cheat device) or b) have a legit device which is not functioning correctly (ie has a dead zone so you only have to be semi accurate to get a dead straight line). Both are illegal on these tours.
3) Score is irrelevant - if you can't calculate wind, roll out etc, and putt well, then a cheat device won't make you shoot -21 - but you will still fail the API. Why? Because you are not playing on a level playing field with other people on your tour of your actual ability.

Save that garbage talk for the CCZ players The majority of miscalculation is all related to the swing path , and nothing else Not sure why you're getting aggressive here, I'm trying to help. You've seen the evidence, Mitch shot a monster lights out -21 which is on video for all to see, Jeff posted his api chart and he wasn't even close to swinging straight, so that's proof that it's not that important. And you've seen a chart for someone who did get his scores removed, which showed crazy tight dispersion. The guy with that super straight chart only scores an average of -9.6 per round in the PGA, so clearly firing lasers is not the secret you seem to think it is.

Viva, 11 shots of mine were detected as dead straight in the middle bar. And 5 in the next column.

I also notice that there is a huge difference in the scale of the two graphs that you posted . And also , does the graph represent final scores ? They are not at different scales. But because the one chart has 18 shots in one segment the y-axis is showing 18 points of data where the most Mitch's chart has is 4 points of data in one segment. And, no, score is not a factor.

I really want to add to this, but I’m convinced that it’ll be the biggest waste of time in my day, and I’ve already played real golf badly!!

Well fadge, I borrowed a controller that barely passed testing. But now I'm scared to swing well or whatever. We'll see.
