I couldn't make a putt in round 1 unfortunately and didn't know at the time it was counting towards a match but i doubt that would've changed anything haha. Although, knowing the pressure was on I had very solid round 3 and made some nice putts so good luck Koop...you better bring your A game!!!

I didn't have my "A" game for the first round, more like my "F" game......hope it improves for my next few rounds. This still gonna be fun!

Good Lord my 2nd round was worse than my 1st! I didn't think that was possible. Not only was I still not hitting greens, NOW I can't sink a putt over 4 feet without lipping it out. I am NOT looking forward to teeing off for the 3rd round. Just about went Happy Gilmore and chucked my putter.
But, I have been self analyzing, and I'm pretty sure I have landed on the problem. I have played the first two rounds completely sober, only sipping away at my water. Pretty sure that was a BIG mistake. So round 3 will not start until at least halfway through a beer or bourbon. I realize this may make me sound like I can't function without alcohol....LOL. I can assure you that I live 99% of my life sober....I just don't typically golf that way in real life or virtually. :-D

It calms the nerves when playing a tournament or competing in a smackdown, or both. I only had coffee this morning so I'm a little surprised at my -10 in R1 at Campbell's Run. (You know a game is good and the competition real when nerves, twitches and head games affect your tournament play just like IRL.)

It looks like the team of Davies and Tough need a -8 or better from Paul to beat the team of Wilson and Bellune in round 1 of the smackdown. No pressure, though, Paul. Wade, keep up the good play in R3, and if I hold up my end we'll have a chance to show those E'ars (sic) something!

- 3 teams of 2 players against the opposing 3 teams of 2 players
- Captains will select the teams and match ups
- 3 points possible this roundNow if I am scoring correctly (and I have been known to be wrong on more than one occasion), it is a match play scoring and not an overall stroke score. Do I have that correct?

I mean, it WAS last week that I read it!

When will results be posted? Are we waiting until all have played/posted for each round? Is this the dumbest post ever because I am anxious to see the scores?!?!?

I will post a link to the google sheet with all the score when everyone has finished their 1st round. Right now, without naming names, we have one score left. But if everyone want me to post it before all scores are in I can do that also. Let me know.
