I'd like to suggest something to some of the other flights as I think it's been a good idea for those who already have rivalries. @spartan4knight billybudd0623 and myself have been running rivalry groups in CC-B, CC-D and CC-C respectively for a while now and they seem to be enjoyed by all participants. They give us something to play for whilst we hang around trying to make an impression on our respective flights. It's all done in fun and the aim is encourage all of us to improve and hopefully move up flights. It doesn't need to be an elaborate set up, start off with a simple post about scores then build from there if you so wish. Next week The CC-C and CC-B guys will be starting a Ryder Cup style contest played in conjunction with the tour rounds, so there's no need for playing extra rounds. There has also been talks between CC-D and CC-C about a tournament as well. It would be good to have at least one in each flight so we can add a bit of excitement to our rounds. Also could benefit players who move up or down as they would have a ready made group to take part in. Any questions about it just get in touch with me and I can give you ideas.

I asked Taylor (spartan4knight) if I could use his Google sheet for my CC-E flight. We have a group of 6 of us that are just starting out. I also messaged a few fellas in CC-F to see if they wanted to do the same but maybe compete CC-E vs CC-F Not sure what we are doing exactly but the interest is there. Will make it a bit more interesting for those of us that are the middle of the pack players. Any ideas as to how or what to do with 2 teams of 6??

It's good to hear there is interest, since there is a group already in CC-D you could challenge them. The match up we have with CC-B is two teams of 6 and is kinda along the lines of the Ryder Cup, here's what we came up with - Admin Info - Use any club set you want (master or pro). - All rounds will be played using the official TGCTours rounds from Week 11 & Week 12 - We will be using the 1st and 3rd rounds from each week for this tournament so make sure you make note of that before you play drunk/tired! Scoring - Win = 1 point. Tie = .5 point. First team to 9.5 points Wins! - All scores will be pulled from TGCTours scorecards on the website - Four balls scores will use the lowest score from a player on each team counting as the team score and match play scoring for the match - Singles match play will use your scorecard against your opponent to simulate the match First round (TGCT Wk 11, Rd1) - Four Ball Match Play - 3 teams of 2 players against the opposing 3 teams of 2 players - Captains will select the teams and match ups - 3 points possible this round Second round (TGCT Wk 11, Rd3) - Singles Match Play - All players will play a 1 on 1 match play against the opposing team - Captains will select the match ups - 6 points up for grabs Third round (TGCT Wk 12, Rd1) - Four Ball Match Play - 3 teams of 2 players against the opposing 3 teams of 2 players - Captains will select the teams and match ups - 3 points possible this round Fourth round (TGCT Wk 12, Rd3) - Singles Match Play - All players will play a 1 on 1 match play against the opposing team - Captains will select the match ups - 6 points up for grabs As we know we all can't be online at the same time, we agreed that we'll play whenever we can. To pick the match ups the 2 captains arranged to be online at the same time and made their choices. So it went Captain 1 made his choice for match 1 then Captain 2 made his for match 1 & 2 then Captain 1 made his for match 2. We done that for the 1st 9 matches then will do it again for the next 9. Taylor has also done a spreadsheet for this as well, you can see it in the CC-B vs CC-C Rivalry Match-up thread on here. The in-flight rivalry group can be just someone collecting the scores and posting them in your flight's thread on here. Or they can do a write up and collect scores like I do in the CC-C thread. Alternatively they could do a spreadsheet like the one that Taylor has in CC-B, it all depends on their preference. Our group is mainly mid leaderboard guys so we are in the same position as you are. It'll keep the interest up for players and they'll be in contact with guys that are regular here and not just playing against a name on the leaderboard. Good luck and any more questions just ask.

D'oh! I think I've used up my daily brain allowance 😁. Yeah you're right probably best to compete against CC-AM. Only other ways I can think of is a stand alone event on a different course but that needs players to set it up themselves. Or stagger it over two weeks, 2 rounds on the CC-AM course and 2 on the CC-PRO course but then that requires 2 extra rounds for each team for one week.

You can see other tours scoreboards. I think what he means is that you could be a CC-D player playing a CC-E course but because it's not your own flight it won't show up on TGCT. So it would be up to that individual to take a screenshot and post it on the forum.

I've posted up on Twitter about our rivalry groups and the upcoming contests. I may have another 2 players one for CC-D and one for CC-E, if it's alright for the guys to join.

I love that the rivalries have really blown up in the last 2 to 3 weeks, I think that’s awesome!

We have an even number at 8. We would add 2 but not one, so that no one sits out each week. There is a guy named flo that posts sometimes on our D board. Maybe we can ask him.
We would still like to challenge you guys for a match in the future.
