Don't forget to finish up your rounds by 8am GMT tomorrow, I'm going to be recording and posting ultra sim rankings plus a whole bunch of long-term stats for everyone in addition to the main weekly leaderboard across the 3 platforms! Next week's event starting tomorrow is at Chambers Bay, all default settings and with medium and high winds, so be prepared for a tougher challenge this time

Just finished up. Played my last 3 rounds with shot feedback off and I really enjoyed it. I feel like my swing was better (even though my scores might not show that). I found myself using "feel" for my swing rather than constantly checking the feedback. I decided to leave feedback off all the time now, in TST and the C-tours. I like it. Here are my scores: RD1 E RD2 +2 RD3 +5 RD4 +2 I can't wait to start the next course! OK, so who wants to start the petition to change TST to these settings

Before I summarise my final 2 rounds would just like to say how much I enjoyed playing this way, really makes you appreciate these superb RCR’s & also realise how very close TGC2019 is to being a great golf sim.Just give us the option to disable loft box, follow cam & the ability to shape shots with a diagonal swing, & maybe choke down on grip. For me the most enjoyable aspect of playing this way is staying behind your golfer watching a downhill 20 ft putt curl into the hole instead of the camera spinning around & not having a clue where the putt is heading.Anyway after my opening rounds of 70 & 63 earlier in the week I have just completed my weekend rounds.Cruised to another 63 in round 3 even with a silly bogey on 18,whether by superb course management or pure luck I seemed to have the perfect distance for my approach shots to just hit a full iron, like to think it was superb course management 😉.Round 4 was much more of a struggle, surprising how much a little bit more wind can affect you in this format, managed to scramble it round in 66 for a total of -18. 1 shy of leaders on PS4 darvaan & smiffy ,well played gents 👍. Very much looking forward to playing some more great RCR’s in this excellent society in a 72 hole format, proper golf, respect the par ,cheers all 🍻 Really nice shooting! I agree, courses come into play WAY more with these settings. Course management is key. Golf + course management = SIM golf.

OK, so who wants to start the petition to change TST to these settings I'm sure that suggestion would go down well.

Last two rounds pretty poor but really enjoyed turning shot feedback off, disappointed not to finish under par after 2 good first rounds by my standard +3 to finish with a 71 and 76. Not going to be playing the game on any settings apart from these as I enjoy the immersion so much, might give the PS4 a go as well as PC next week as I have just got a 55" inch 4k TV .

Played the final three rounds in one go. Its all documented on twitch. Decided to put distance and elevation in the HUD and remove the flag marker. Gave the game a much nicer more immersive look. Managed to find some golf and shot a 62 in the second round with a bogey on the last. Was looking at a good chance for double digits under par there after a 51 foot eagle on 17. Happy to sit with a one stroke lead over Mr Paisley after two. Pretty happy with my putting and approach play for the round: Then of course I lost my swing in round three and was struggling to just stay alive... Mr Paisly was struggling as well, so the round of 72 had us tied after 3 but invited more people into the discussion including the Dangler himself. Final round started shaky but three straight birdies on 9,10 and 11 and then making a 17 foot slider on 14 for another was enough to pull away from the pack. -16 total which I am very happy with. Looking forward to going back to Oakmont in the future on this tour with it set to more major like conditions. It is a beast when greens are firm and fast. Pretty OK putting stats over the tournament as well, I need that to offset my lack of ball-striking ability.

Oakmont is a beast I think DJ won on 5 under and that's lower than usual.Even on favourable conditions 16 under is some shooting, well played

SMIFFYLFC79 and darvaanIt looks like you two are going to be tied for week 1, hammers suggested maybe a playoff as a realistic way of deciding, would you guys be up for that (maybe playing turn-based?)? TGCT style countback would need scorecards and I'm not sure you'll have those. Alternatively you can just share the win if you want!

Welp, I'm +10 through 2 at Chambers Bay, definitely tougher conditions this week which don't suit my style of play (my style being I'm shiiiiiit), I'll be very impressed with anybody who finishes under par this week, even the PS4 guys lol

I shot +10 round 1. The greens ate me up. I can't remember the hole, but there was a pin location on top of hill on the green that I 5 putted. Started Hole 1 with an eagle, but it was all down hill after that. Looking forward to round 2!

After being rained off from some real life golf today,I thought I would play some video game golf & I definitely had more fun than I would have playing the real thing today. In fact I think I just had the most fun I’ve ever had on a golf video game after donkeys years going back to pga on mega drive.Played first & set off eagle, birdie & thought wow I could be in for a low one here, unfortunately rest of front nine was a bit more up & down, had another birdie but also a bogey & a triple 🤬,to go out in level par.I then made 9 straight pars on back 9 for a level par 71.Very happy with that but I am 6 shots behind PS4 leader infamous Eddie who shot a fantastic 65,great knock Eddie 👍
